Proximity to activities suitable for 6 year olds (mini land rovers, sky trail and playgrounds)
Pod was clean with electric sockets and heater. Big enough for our family of 3.
Toilet/shower block was cleaned daily

Showers did not get warm

Lots of pitches, big pitch sizes, good kids play area.

Nobody to greet us and tell us which pitch was ours when we arrived, which wouldn't have been so much of a problem if we'd received the details via email before hand but we hadn't even been given an access code to get through the main gate and reception was closed, the only way to contact someone was through the emergency line which didn't get answered for 20 mins and by the time we did finally get to our pitch it was dark and late. Grass on our pitch was very very muddy and boggy which can't be helped. Very noisy neighbours until early hours of the morning, dogs barking, people shouting, music blaring, no staff anywhere to report this to. Cafe, restaurant/bar and shop were all closed and are apparently never open according to staff so this site should not be advertising these facilities. To top it off, there was a man offering drugs In the toilet block, on a family site where kids were going to the toilet by themselves! Such a shame because the site has a lot of potential to be an excellent family camp site.

Lovely site that we keep returning to as lots to do there.

The place was a little muddy so the pitch wasn’t the best and was told all hard standing were fully booked when we could they were plenty available. A bit disappointing.

Friendly staff very helpfull , clean toilets and showers and washing up area under cover.Kids enjoyed the play area and the open space to run around and have fun.

Size of pitch

Not enough showers for size of site. Push button duration too short. Everything closed at 4 even shop/ cafe. Nothing open in the evening during a busy Easter holiday.

The staff were helpful pulling us out when we got stuck.
Good park for the kids.
Nice walk over to the country park.

I wouldn’t book a grass pitch again as it was horrendous.
Would come back but only hard standing. Toilets and showers not the best.

Open spaces, secure entry gate, 16a electric supply. Lovely outdoor areas beyond the campsite.

Facilities extremely dirty, many showers inoperable, Elsan point no hose to wash out (flush away) just a tap.
Shop, badly stocked and overpriced.

It was a get away. Fairly local to shops.

We rang before hand due to traveling fair distance because the weather, we were told no issues. Motorhomes, Caravans and cars were stuck in the mud of pitched on the road due to conditions of the grass.

Showers were stop/start every 5 seconds and hot/cold. No different in either block. Dirty facilities. No where to dry off/change.

The water park and campsite are disjointed. No organisation. No one new anything, difficult to find any information out.
