Everything about this site was perfect, the staff are amazing and very helpful, the gates/barrier on entry and exit and coded toilet/shower blocks made it feel safer. Very clean site and brilliant facilities. The information booklet given at reception was a huge help containing lots of information regarding things to do and book. Toilets and showers blocks were always clean. Absolutely 100% recommend.

Absolutely nothing

Disappointing.

A disappoint site inspite of its premium price.
There is no motorhome service point and I do not think Reception even had any idea what a service point is and why modern motorhomes need them. Although there are water taps near internal roads they are all of a very ancient style and totally unuseable for hose connection. The black water point by the main toilet block has a water tap which it is almost impossible to use to flush the toilet cassette through. The toilet block itself will struggle to cope when the site is approaching full.
The internal roads are just crushed limestone and so in dry weather every passing vehicle creates a dust storm. There does not appear to be any attempt at recycling.
The Reception only opens at 9:00 am and closes at 5:00 pm which restricts times when it is possible to modify a booking.
Pitch numbering is not clear. Internal road names do not relate to anything of any use.
There is supposed to be a bus service near the site. Nottingham Public Transport make up any excuse why their buses can not run. Public transport has to be reliable. Nottingham's number 11 service is not reliable.

The site was great , good shop , park , activities near by .

The toilets were just a bit too far away .

I liked the open space and how clean it all was. Great facilities!

Where out tent pitch was right next to the road and it was quite loud at night and where people's headlights were shining coming out of the regatta meant it shone through our tent which was annoying

Also the showers did not smell nice and they needed a good clean and new shower curtain putting up!

Nothing

Field was not too busy. Pitch’s nicely spaced out. Clean toilet and showering facilities. Area is quiet. Overall nice experience. We have been many times with friends and we have also been allocated next to each other when we request this. I travel with two young children and we have always throughly enjoyed.

The on site children’s park was a little on the boring side as not suitable for children under 5 at all.

Family friendly atmosphere and it's a quick walk to the watersports centre with many fun activities.

Another toilet block on the other side of the site would be great.
