Avoid!!!! We paid £75 for our stay but left after 1 hour. Nothing about this site was likeable and it felt extremely unsafe. No wardens were present with the office firmly closed. A white panel van arrived to use the toilets which we did not dare to enter as they were grubby even from the outside. I have had no response to my telephone calls or emails. I have contacted Pitch Up as well as this site should be closed at the moment.

No customer service. No response to emails and calls. Felt very unsafe. Pot holes everywhere. Minimal space between pitches. Dirty.

Nothing really just the water sports centre was lovely.
So much potential for this site but just not the best at all .

Toilets were vile disgusting , never got cleaned when I was there for the 4 days I went at 8 am not clean went at 10 still not cleaned went back at midday and not clean ,
Onsite shop and reception not open once while we was there didn’t see one member of staff at all ,
Also when it gets dark there is no lights at all the campsite is pitch black no lights on around at all you could here shouting and stuff but because it was dark we couldn’t see anything and my children were so scared
The hard standing pitches were tiny car only just fit

Clean and tidy site, toilets clean and code locked to keep secure. Easy location to get to and will likely return to use as base for trips to Nottingham as it's so close to the city.

Very open which left pitches exposed to the wind but not a big deal.

Nice big site, good facilities, the pitch sizes could just do with being a little bit wider. Close to the river and Nottingham. Would definitely go back.

We were missing curtains and had rubbish under the bed upon arrival.

I realise it was a very dull and damp time of year to visit Holme Pierrepont so it's not the campsites fault for the weather but the seasonal pitches we was met with upon arrival was very disappointing it looked like a travellers site rubbish everywhere old children's toys strewn across the pitches it was very very scruffy to say the least I understand that these pitches bring in a all year round income but surely the owners must be made to keep to some kind of standard. Nevertheless we would probably visit again but stipulate that we are pitched away from that area it's really such a shame
