Friday night was Pizza night and a company comes as no sets up selling a range of pizzas.
A new shower/ toilet block near the shop was quite new so investment has been done for the site.
Staff friendly and helpful. Any queries were answered fully and made to feel as welcome as possible.No em va agradar: The shop stored a good variety of basic essentials like sanitary, cleaning products, soft drinks, crisps, sweets and cereals which was great. Not a dislike but maybe a wider range of food which is more filling like sandwiches and pasties/pies would be better.

Thankyou for your review we are really glad that you enjoyed your stay. We did have some national grid power outs in March in the area, apologies that there were some down times due to this.

No em va agradar: It was advertised as having a park but the park had no slide and not very good for younger children. Alittle disappointing that we didn’t see anyone for our entire stay, self check in. The shower block was basic but clean. Luckily we were pitched a few caravans down from it but because of the bad weather we had lots of people driving to the toilets with their only being 1 toilet block. This was not great for the kids playing out as the cars/ vans were driving over to the block from the other end of the site parking and reversing where the kids were crossing to the field. Because of the bad rain our pitch flooded the awning.
We apologize if you didn’t encounter any staff during your visit. While our hours are reduced during the winter period, we’re still open four days a week on the campsite, and our main centre is available 24/7. As part of our winter adjustments, we close three of the toilet blocks due to lower demand.
Although the campsite play park doesn't feature a slide, we do have a large, destination play park with multiple slides and other attractions available free of charge at our nearby country park. We hope this alternative will be an enjoyable experience for families visiting.
Would stay again but only for a night

Stayed in March 2025 for two nights probably wouldn’t stay again.

However, we sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with the cleanliness and maintenance of the toilet and shower facilities, as well as the pot wash area. We take these concerns seriously and will ensure that our team addresses these areas to improve the overall experience for our guests.
Regarding the height barrier, we understand how the 8 pm closure can be inconvenient however this is important for site security. We do when possible in season leave until later. We also appreciate your comments on the site shop, we have over recent years really grown our shop offering however this obviously reduces through the winter months.

Grass between pitches and around site needs a good cut.
Pitches are very tired.
