Lovely place, liked the pod. Loved seeing the animals roaming about and it really makes you feel a part of nature. Lovely owner and communated well as we were arriving late.

Few cobwebs in the pod.
No warning about the rooster so take ear plugs if you don't want a 4am wake up call!

Lovely site, great cabin with a wood burning stove if it gets cold but also a fire pit for sitting outside at night.
Wood to be purchased on site, at a nice price too.
The bed is super comfortable affording a good nights rest.
Nice amount of space between the cabins and other campers.
Peaceful and relaxing.
As a working farm you can be visited by some lambs, ducks with their ducklings, chickens and two wonderfully friendly dogs (also two goats).
The animals are friendly, never intrusive and not noisy.
There are clean toilets, shower block and washing up area with hot water.
There is a superb walk from the site to the nearby village of Broughton in Furness which has a bakery, butchers, groceries and 3 pubs, so a night out or a or a trip for supplies is well within reach.
Along the path on the way into the village there is a lake (private land) which I understand people are permitted to dip in.
The site is also a short journey away from an ancient stone circle.
Moss side has everything going for it, will be going back for sure, even inviting friends to join us.

A little expensive for a non-elec pitch but I knew that

Likes the old train cabins and the layout of the camp site, nice and pieceful and the location is stunning x

Showers ,was a very cold experience but was still lovely and clean

Pulled up to our cabin to find lambs and chickens playing on the doorstep, so what more can you ask for.
The cabin was cosy and all the amenities were clean tidy. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
The walk to the village is easy to follow and very pretty with some grate views.

Had to go home

Very warm welcome on arrival from owner. Level ground for pitching and great scenery.
Peaceful and firepits dotted around to take and use. Basic clean washing facilities including shower, sinks, toilet blocks. Left alone and was able to relax.

Few taps didn't work in toilet block for brushing teeth and only cold water run into toilet block sink. Hot water only for showers and washing up. No information on walks in regards to leaflets as didn't know where to start when was there.

We had a really great stay. Louise was very welcoming and we were able to have a really secluded pitch with great views! Would highly reccommend.
