Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Peaceful small site in a great location to visit several different areas. The washblock facilities were warm and clean with liquid soap and washing up liquid provided and even relaxing music playing in the background.
Very good instructions sent in advanceNo em va agradar: The emphasis on Campsite rules in the pre arrival information had us a little concerned whether it was going to feel very regimented, however this was not the case at all.
The M6 is nearby and a road runs behind the site. We noticed the noise the first night as we have a VW Transporter with pop top, the second night we pulled the top bed down before going to sleep and it made a huge difference. Presumably those without a canvas roof don’t hear the traffic.

Always a plus to have a laundry that doesn't cost a fortune. We stayed here in March so still quite. It was a great base to visit others. Lancaster (if you can, use the park and ride. £2 return). Morecambe Kendal and up the road is Carnforth which has various supermarkets. Loved this site it's a big thank you from both of us.

No em va agradar: Very close to a busy road which was quite noisy.
Also the WiFi wasn't very good and struggled to load anything whilst connected.

No em va agradar: Electrical hookups far from pitches, would be inconvenient if someone in the pitch adjacent. Only 2 toilets and 1 shower each for men/women so expect could be an issue during peak season. WiFi was hit and miss depending where you were even within our campervan.
Hi Shannon. Thank you for choosing tos tay with us. We are in a generally poor phone signal area (something we cannot control) although our wifi is strong and provided due to phone signal considerations to aid guests watching films on devices etc... As per your booking email notes we sent you, we advise and recommend guests switch off mobile data on a device and then connect to our wifi as this way guests find they don't have 'signal drop out' issues.

Toilet facilities were spotless, as was every inch of the site!
The farm shop is walkable, as is a little pub further down the road (although not sure of paths as we didn’t do the walk - we saw it when we were leaving!)
Having Wi-Fi on the site was a bonus too!No em va agradar: Some pitches do require a longer hook up cable so make sure you take note of the instructions when you book! We were told of this so not a dislike more a warning to others as we didn’t have one long enough but the lovely atmosphere on site saw others offering to swap pitches with us and one camper even traded their longer lead with our shorter one 🥰
