Spent a week here with our dogs and for most of it we had the site to ourselves – so peaceful with stunning mountain views all around. The dog walking field was perfect for morning strolls, and the toilet/shower block was the best we’ve ever seen, spotlessly clean and modern. Also impressed with the WiFi speed, we have a 5G router we usually use for trips however didn’t need it as it worked amazingly which was a nice surprise!
The staff were really friendly and welcoming too they gave us great tips on local walks. We loved visiting the on-site animals too goats, pigs, and even a Highland cow, and feeding them for just 50p was such a fun touch. The site feels wonderfully rural, yet Dolgellau is only 5 minutes away by car and Snowdonia is easily reached too.
An absolute gem of a place we wouldn’t hesitate to return when visiting North Wales again!No em va agradar: –

Shower/toilets are the best we've ever had. We keep returning because the kids love the fact you can feed the animals in the morning - we feel we've bonded with the highland cow. She's lovely.
No em va agradar: Not a dislike by any means. But if anything was ever changed it would be handy to have more in the play area for younger kids. Maybe a swing or a small slide.

I'm sorry to hear that you did not have an enjoyable stay this time. August is our busiest month and it is a little busier than the times you have previously visited . Like yourselves families with children visit during the school summer holidays .
The young family next to you were having to care for their very young unsettled child that night however they were not being loud and trying their best to be quiet . After you mentioned the noise we did several additional patrols the following night and said it was very quiet throughout the evening and into the night . People intentionally being noisy after 10pm are asked to quieten down however some noises cannot be helped.
I'm disappointed to see that your entire view of the site was tainted by your lack of sleep .
