No em va agradar: No on site shop and the play area could do with some tlc, lots of rust on the equipment (especially money bars)

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: The overall layout of the whole site was very good, not too far of a walk from wherever you are staying to a toilet/shower block. Plenty of things todo as well, the indoor pool was a nice addition. The check in process was easy and was very simple to find where you are staying with your personalised map. On our particular stay we were placed in a really quiet area which suited our needs really well. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, there was always someone around when/if you needed them. There was a nearby town that was less than a 10 minute drive away which had pretty much anything you may need that you hadn’t brought with you. Facilities were very clean and tidy every time I went in there and open all the time.
No em va agradar: The WiFi (free) was at times very slow and would not load properly at times. However, they did offer a paid for WiFi but we did not use this so cannot comment.

Good size: not too large but big enough to have what you need. Facilities kept clean and tidy. Nobody stole the soap we kept leaving in the washing-up area!
No em va agradar: We seemed to be in the cloud for most of our stay :-( Toilet ran out of loo paper and the hairdryer didn't work. Wifi signal insufficient from our pitch and there was no obvious way to access the free wifi.
Thanks for the review Clive, we are glad that you managed to all enjoy the facilities we have on the holiday park during the bad weather we seem to have experienced all summer long so far :(
The wifi is accessible by just clicking to connect to 'lanyon free wifi' there is no login or passwords required, you just have to tick a button to agree to the terms of usage.

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Lovely site, very peaceful, great park for the kids to play in. The site itself is kept very clean. Loved hearing the cows in the morning and watching them throughout the day having a walk around.
Check in was very easy and no issue locating our pitch. Pitch was a good size, we could fit our car, caravan and awning on with space still available.
Regarding my star rating - I can’t score any more than 3 for customer service as I didn’t see any staff on site. Check in didn’t involve interacting with anyone. However, email communication prior to visit was good.
Wifi - you can pay for it, but otherwise you are stuck with mobile data and being up on a hill, meant I had none for the week unless we travelled off site into a village/town.
No em va agradar: The Owl site could potentially be packed with tents and caravans, leaving no room for the kids to play on. There is the dog walk paddock with goal posts, but it’s out of sight and kids aren’t even aware of it. We had one or two tents in the centre of the Owl field when we stayed and that was perfect, as about 10-15 kids played together each night whilst parents can watch. Just unfortunate that this can’t happen should they be fully booked.
Showers in the Owl site could be updated to match the Fox site showers, but that’s it, although slightly dated, they were very clean with hot water.
Would definitely still book the site again though and recommend it to others!

We find that customers like the flexibility of a self check in on arrival as it is a much speedier process than having to check in with a member of staff at busier times. This is why we give out our on call number with your check in information so you have a 24hr line of communication with a member of the team. Had you needed us for whatever reason, even if it was just for local food recommendations, we would have been available :)
We feel that the holiday park has ample recreational play space for children even when all of our pitches are full. We never guarantee this space to be in front of each and every pitch across the site but would advise if this is something customers would like, the best pitch type to book would be our Gold XL as they have additional space for play and are in the field closest to the play park and swimming pool.
