No em va agradar: We had booked a holiday here and were looking forward to it however my wife was diagnosed with cancer and after the operation she was readmitted for over a week while we were supposed to be away. Obviously this was out of the ordinary and all other life admin took a backseat. When I contacted the sites to explain as to why we were not able to attend and ask for a change of dates I was met with a less than compassionate response.
No refund, no scope to rearrange. It is understood that there is a business to run however under the circumstances I would have appreciated some kindness and feel this kind of situation falls under the category of extenuating circumstances (given the choice of spending a week in hospital vs a week on holiday it’s not like we would have chosen the hospital)

Please know that we absolutely empathise with your situation. Regarding your booking, we want to gently clarify that reservations made through Pitch Up are subject to their specific terms and conditions, which we, as a site, are obliged to adhere to. Unfortunately, this sometimes limits the flexibility we might otherwise wish to offer directly in cases such as yours. We do hope to be able to welcome you and your wife to Ladram Bay in the future.

The meals I had at Pebbles Restaurant were really good especially the blue cheese steak and pizza! Whole site pretty immaculate and the restrooms were so clean. Lovely view from a great pitch. Staff so friendly and helpful. Lovely chilled weekend. Thank you all!
No em va agradar: Whilst I could take the pups to the Beach bar and see the sea, dogs are not allowed o the beach at anytime. Bit hard when the beach was totally devoid of people by 7pm and it would have been great to take him there. Only other observation on a sunny weekend was the mat the dog water bowls around the site were a bit dirty and hadn’t been topped up

Bar and Entertainment was good (my point of view) we had a wonderful stay thank youNo em va agradar: Only one Rubbish area. BBQ allowed on pitches which I felt was a safety issue with children running about also a lot of smoke which came in to your vans. Only other problem pitches not made clear which way you could put your caravan or campervan as people were parking on other people's grass areas.
