Staff were friendly and helpful.
Pitches had electric hook up and water posts at each pitch.
Grounds of site were well maintained.
The toilets and shower blocked were spacious and very clean.
Reasonable prices at the stores, restaurant and takeaway.
Lovely private beach with kayak and paddleboard hire.

WiFi signal was poor at motorhome / caravan pitches.

What an amazing site! The lady who welcomed us was so friendly and really set the holiday off to a high standard. The site and facilities were very clean, food and drinks couldn’t complain. Even had aircon on in the restaurant and club house which was great for the hot weather. Clean toilet down near the beach.
Shops well stocked with so much you would struggle going without. Already booking to come back.

Not any dislikes but just a heads up, the site is on slopes but not as bad as I had read. I think an hourly train or ride of some sort from beach to top pitches would make a world of difference for those less able.
But again this isn’t stopping us coming back :)

The location was stunning with a sea view
The pebble beach bay was lovely. My little one loved throwing the stones in the sea. Just watch out for the seagulls!
It has a swimming pool and splash park on site as well as a small soft play and an arcade.
Pub and bar on site too.
Great shop on site which sold a bit of everything!
Showers were great and clean as well as the toilets
Also a crazy golf there but had to pay extra so we didn’t do it

Absolutely lovely beach. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The toilet facilities were very clean and this made camping much more durable. Would definitely come again!

Litter around the beach (from the seagulls taking stuff from the bins). Perhaps you could have covered bins?

We liked the site, the facilities were excellent and always clean. The shop was well stocked and not over priced. All the staff - including the security staff - were happy, smiley and engaged in conversation; The beach was lovely and clean and the waves breaking over the shelfs were brilliant for the children to safely enjoy. The cliff path was well marked and we walked both ways during our stay. All good - happy days!

The only dislike was the rood from the nearest town which was extremally narrow for a large touring caravan...

Ladram Bay was as usual excellent. Nothing to complain about at all.
the revamped facilities block is good. It was the 80th anniversary weekend so good
fun was had by all. A good weekend all round. Will certainly be back again

As soon as you arrive you know you're somewhere special. My visit began with a warm welcome and easy check-in from the security guard (just what you need after a long hot drive!) and the best information pack I've ever seen. Colour maps, shop opening times, entertainment timetable and fish and chip shop menu- and like the site's rules, clearly written and understandable. The only information I couldn't find was the check-out times (it was 10am for camper vans).
The big draw for me was how close the beach was, it's literally minutes away from your pitch and the sea quality was good. The sea was already warm enough to swim in comfortably and you don't have to walk miles to get to the water!
I'd highly recommend this park for coeliacs especially, there are lots of gluten-free options everywhere and the fish and chips tasted so amazing I had them twice. I noticed they used a totally separate area for cooking my fish too. There is a well stocked shop that doesn't rip you off, a large clubhouse and a couple of restaurants (which I didn't use but looked popular). The beach is pebbly, so best bring flip-flops or similar. The cliffs and rocks are spectacular and you can easily hire kayaks, paddle boards or even motor boats from the friendly beach shack guys. There's plenty to do for families and couples alike and dogs were welcome (but not on the beach). The site gets fairly steep (I was right at the top) but I felt much fitter after my stay! Most pitches seemed to have a good view of the sea, and all had their own water supply and electrical hook-up and were totally level. The walk to Budleigh Salterton is beautiful and took me a couple of hours (approx 3.75 miles) but take plenty of water in this weather as there's not much shade en-route. The site was really quiet at night too and the facilities excellent and spotless. To top it all, there's crazy golf, an amusement arcade and a swimming pool What's not to like? Winner!

Absolutely brilliant site - lots to do, friendly staff, shop has everything you need. Clean toilets and warm showers, flat pitches.
The beach is amazing and the swimming pool is also brilliant.
We will be back!

Not a dislike of the site but no reception or internet on phone - not a problem now we know but definitely plan ahead if you rely on it like we do!
