Cooking on an open fire, enjoying the wildlife and roasting marshmallows. Facilities are clean and adequate for the size of the site, the staff were friendly and the site well looked after. Highly recommend the woodland pitches.

There was a fridge available for use and laundry facilities. The site had plenty of space and was nice to walk around. The small lakes and surround were very pretty.
No em va agradar: The noise level of other campers after posted quiet times. Both nights we stayed there was a birthday group of kids out screaming and playing til gone 10/11 was almost midnight on one of the nights and then back up doing it again by 6
-7am . It was a bit annoying trying to get my one year old to sleep. The sight also seemed to be in a flight path, so all hours of the day and even into the night you’re hearing helicopters and planes go low overhead, not terrible annoying, but some where quite loud at 2 am.

There was a lovely big field (vacant at the time of booking) which was brilliant for kicking a ball about and general running around. Facilities were nicely looked after and worked really well, hot running water at a good pressure. Location was great, right on a public footpath.
