Circular campsite with a central play area for the children. Easy to keep an eye on them!
The hay bales were a big hit with our children and they spent ages playing on them.
Sunflower field was lovely.
Toilets were clean.
Staff were friendly.No em va agradar: Chemical toilets were extremely smelly.
No hot water for washing up.

The children loved the hay bales and games in the middle, it felt very safe with everyone camping around the edge. We loved the pick your own sunflower field with the coffee and ice cream trucks. It was a lovely relaxing weekend with the bonus of a hot outdoor shower take a pound coin and enjoy a hot wash with a great view. We will definitely come back

Lots of things to do nearby. Having a central area for the kids to play where you can see them was great.
No em va agradar: Lights in the loos would be nice but using a torch was also fine.

Amenities were clean (prior to the deluge of rain) and adventurous if you don’t mind showing in a natural environment..
Staff were happy to help out especially in finding the right access road..No em va agradar: £8 for a bucket of logs I thought was a little on the higher end..

Near to Abingdon which is a bit town with amenities if you need anything.
Pitches clearly marked and a good size.
Mixed camping groups all together ie families, couples, campers, tents etc
Showers were simple but warm and functional.No em va agradar: Lack of control on site. 1 group of campers decided to party until 4am and nobody from campsite around to manage this type of behaviour.
No light in toilets !!
Thank you very much for your review. We really appreciate all feedback. We're delighted you enjoyed the site. Many apologies for the noisy campers, that is not acceptable. We don't keep the lights on in the toilets at night because it gets so full of moths and flies, which isn't too pleasant!

We also had a lovely walk around the field.
All the children were having fun in the middle of the field so easy to keep an eye on them.No em va agradar: Although clean, the toilets had an awful smell. Something not quite right with the septic tank.
Super location with well laid out, roomy pitches. Family friendly.

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Hill Lodge Farm was just perfect for our short stay to connect with family and let the kids enjoy play in a beautiful position, a stone’s throw from our home town. The position on the farm means the site feels secluded and rural. It’s ‘proper’ camping with basic facilities but everything you need to enjoy a short stay. The sun shined & set over the brow of the field - beautiful. We loved the clear recycling facilities.
No em va agradar: Though the toilets provided are plumbed and kept clean and well equipped; they do honk somewhat. I’m sure it’s a requirement for dealing with the sewage in an environmentally friendly way but just be prepared! Not a deal breaker.
Lovely review, thank you so much for coming for a mini outdoor vacation! The toilets are a constant battle...
