Beautiful view, peacocks and Dartmoor

I camp site was quiet with beautiful views. It had a really relaxed nature and the children loved seeing the Guinea Fowl, Peacock and chickens roaming. The facilities were very easy to use despite the rain on the first night!

Location very rural, animals on farm were fun to spot.
Quiet field, easy check in procedure, clean showers with good water.

Toilets seemed to not been cleaned daily or toilet paper replaced

Beautiful location, lovely hill side backdrop. Shower & toilet block was clean. Nice soft ground, easy to get the tent pegs in.

Warning to other motorcyclists; access is not great. Incline to entrance, loose stone, uneven.

The space and ability to pitch wherever you wanted and the facilities where very clean. The site is also very close to the dartmoor park border which was very convenient for backpacking.

The tebt field wad a big hill so I imagine if the field was busy then it would be hard to find flat ground.

the farm animals were the highlight

-we couldn't charge our phones, i picked this campsite because online it said they have charging points, what a let down. I have asked twice only so I don't bother the owner. They didn't even offer to charge my phone for me. It was a struggle as we drove all the way from London, which they would know if they bothered having a conversation with us.
-there were no soap dispensers in the ladies toilet or tissue dispenser.
-the walk to the toilets were quite far from our pod. not a big issue but disliked it.
-they said they have wifi but they don't.
-they don't have signal , so can't use 4g.

Lovely quiet site on the edge of Dartmoor. Has toilet block, showers, washing up area and even provides an option for charging phones.

You share the field with guinea fowl, sheep and a - to us - invisible peacock.

Views spectacular. Access road a little unnerving single-track, but then it's Dartmoor and that is to be expected. :)
