Love having the cafe on site, it is great for breakfast especially when the weather is not so good and you dont fancy cooking in the van.
Had a lovely walk to Whitchuch around 40 minutes, a beautiful historic town with everything you want, cafes, restaurants, bars, shops etc. The walk is along a canal which is clean and tranquil great for off lead dog walk.
The site is kept beautiful, the facilities are clean and lovely hot showers. In the dish washing room there are books and games to loan. There is a lake for fishing or just watching the ducks, fields all around with sheep coming up to the fence.

The road noise is a bit of a pain but nothing the site can do about that, you are set back some way but the noise seems to travel and it is very busy. I must say it did not spoil our weekend, this is the second time we have been so that speaks for itself.

Possibly have a local Wi-Fi we could connect to just enough to have a signal as I couldn’t contact anyone unless I went into town

Fantastic site and an absolute bargain compared to similar sites we have stayed at recently. Lovely clean facilities with spacious showers plus a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Right next to the canal and a nice walk into Whitchurch. We were parked right next to the lake and spent the evenings watching the bats over the water. It's close to a main road but the noise wasn't an issue. We and definitely coming back and would highly recommend this site.

The only negative was that we were only here 2 nights 😂

Bloody lovelly campsite great fishing very healthy fish very clean toilets an showers staff very helpfull pitch's very peacefully close to canal walks and Llangollen nice cafe too we watched the bats over the pool at night we booked for two nights and am still here we love this place

Good facilities and well maintained site. Modern toilet and shower block. Small tent field choice of level pitches.

Horrendous and relentless traffic noise from very busy A525 it echoed right across site day and night we were there Fri-Sun. You think far enough from road on map but it's awful like sleeping next to motorway. Three adults in a tent had music on from car and singing until after midnight, no staff stopped them despite signs saying quiet time after 11pm.

An extremely well presented site. Some of the infrastructure is slightly dated but the cleanliness of all facilities was outstanding and the people maintaining the site including the groundwork’s are to be congratulated.
The site is in a good location and benefits from being adjacent to the canal towpath which allows a pleasant 1hour stroll into the town. The site also has a dog training area which is free to use.
There is also a cafe open Thursday to Sunday however the operators are considering extending this to include Wednesday.
All in all a site which we will definitely return to and have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending.

We are first time campers and wanted a site near to home for a trial night to make sure everything we purchased was as sold ! And what a great find, small quiet and dog friendly, right on the Shropshire canal for an easy walk into Whitchurch - lovely little communal sun deck and hut on the lake.
Shower block was clean and warm.
And a bonus of a little cafe on site open til 3pm too.

We would recommend to anyone after a quiet few days away.
