The owner was there to greet us and couldn’t be more helpful, even helping us with our tarpaulin to keep it down in the wind! The kids had a ball, running around. We would definitely stay again

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Absolutely stunning place to camp, it was really beautiful, we were right by the river and had freedom to choose where we pitched up, there were horses and sheep across the way which were great to watch. Also they offered firewood when it was getting dark, it cost but it was a lovely gesture. Toilets were clean and I was really impressed with showers, nice hot water! Also appreciate the toilet lights being left on during the night so we can find our way haha! Brilliant!

No em va agradar: Returned early after just one night stay (we paid for 2) due to being kept awake most of the night by disrespectful noisy neighbours. The rules were explained to ourselves about noise (quiet by 11pm) however not everyone stuck to these rules, we never saw anyone come and check if people were sticking to the rules. we were kept awake until after 4am with people drinking and shouting. This unfortunately kept waking our two year old and older children. Resulting in unhappy campers, so the next day we packed up and left, I instantly text the owner once we had left and explained why, to then be told I was "moaning about the noise" and that a refund for the second night that we did not stay would not be given, extremely unprofessional in my opinion.
The field was full of sheep pooh, and a strong smell of cannabis in the evenings.
I would advise anyone with a young family to avoid this site. There are plenty of other nice sites to choose from.
We unfortunately learnt the hard way and would not return, especially after the unprofessional reaction from the owner.

The facilities were basic but clean and all working. We knew this anyway from the information on the website. There was plenty of space and choice were to pitch the tent. The scenery was beautiful and there was lots of walking trails and a river near by.

We sincerely apologise for people talking and drinking within their tents. Unfortunately the leisure industry will never please everyone. If anyone has an issue with the site we ask for this to be brought to our attention. We will always do our upmost to accommodate everyone. Drug use on the site is taken incredibly seriously and we hope people will report to help us. Within the beautiful countryside our site is in, wild garlic is freely grown.
