No em va agradar: The shower and toilet facities needed some deep cleaning and attention, the large industrial sized bins were overflowing. This could have been because the day before was a bank holiday ? However, the site owners/management really need to be a little more proactive to improve the site with not much cost or difficulty.

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: This is quite a nice small pitch, the owner was friendly and came to say hello and offered some advice on where to go. There is a pub next door but doesn’t open every day. Easy to find and a great little stop over pitch for us.
No em va agradar: The toilets are not quite as clean as I would like, but it’s a cheap site at £10 pn so not going to complain about that!

No em va agradar: This was like a rave or festival ground with music on blasting until 3 am - I'm not a party pooper - it states that loud music should not be played after 10 am and even until 11am would be ok .
Wont be staying here again - its up to yourselfs /bring your ear plugs !!
Toilets and one shower were very dirty too .

Great stay, pitch was good, Owner was very accommodating as usual, toilets were nice and clean, this is a great basic site near to lots of great places to visit! Bakewell just 20 mins away, Buxton too. For people who prefer GLAMPING then this site isn't for you.. When it rains the grass gets muddy and then obviously it gets walked into the bathroom floor, its unavoidable I'm afraid. We found the Owner to be friendly and helpful...He let us move our pitch as It got terribly muddy due to all the rain, all without a fuss. The donkey sanctuary is just over the field and we found a gate which you can walk through and actually watch them up close, fantastic! If you get a chance, visit Speedwell Caverns, we had a great time there!

No em va agradar: I was expecting no-frills experience, and expected to find facilities that were basic but clean, and and well maintained. However the portakabin toilet/bathroom was unclean, the tiny cloakroom sink was too small for a wash, and it's cold water tap had no pressure, emitting a bare dribble. A bottle of hand-wash would be welcome. The motion-sensor light switched off after 20 seconds, so it was pitch black inside whilst doing ones business. There was no light for safe exit of the toilet block, ie. stepping down onto a muddy field in the darkness. Ablutions were an unpleasant experience. Outside, the pot washing sink was also filthy. Maybe build a path through the mud? Back-to-basics camping shouldn't mean safety & cleanliness are optional.
