No em va agradar: Toilets and showers were disgusting and well below what you would expect for the price paid. Investment required to bring them up to acceptable level.
This is a shame the location is perfect but I wouldn’t stay here again.
Handy for coastal bus route.

Maybe if the Mgmnt spent a bit more time cleaning and less time slandering peoples honest reviews, the site would be liked by more people. And he says underfloor heating in the showers??!! hahaha yeah right.
We did not stay an extra two nights, we just booked 2 nights one day then added another 2 nights when we saw how much there was to do in the area. We paid for all 4 nights upon arrival (before seeing the state of the place).
PS - I did not mention the disgusting carpets at the entrance to the toilet blocks, the one sink to do washing up in a filthy room, the unfinished single toilet down in the second field, the disgusting grey/black water disposal point, the full and stinky bins with litter all around them and the general air of decay about the whole place. Now I did. Hope this helps others avoid this place.
PPS - the RSPB dont leave plastic bags to mark nests, nor do they use life savers to mark nests. Your lies about this are simply laughable.

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Ease of getting bus 402 which goes along the coast road from Ballycastle to Coleraine (eg stops at Carrick a rede, Giants, Bushmills & Portrush).
No em va agradar: Grubby old toilets and lukewarm £1 showers, no wifi. Lots of litter around the place and the ponds were overgrown with weeds and surrounded by rubble. Lower field is within earshot of the busy coast road, but this calms down in the evening.
Difficult to walk anywhere apart from on a road. No coastal access. Was expecting way better for £40 a night!
Frankly, my GF was horrified with the state of the toilet blocks and the one washing-up sink and she flatly refused to use the disgusting clothes washing machine. Such a shame!!
In answer to your bigot review mainly because you had to pay a £1 for the spotless clean shower with underfloor heating when you step out, that will not change it will stay at 40c as per safety guidelines set down so that children do not get scalded and timed so that they are available for other guests and not used as a hot upside down geysers if this was what you wanted I suggest you stay at home and confine your self to your shower cubicle.as for rubbish around that was a lie the photo you took was of blue markers fitted there by the rspb and a life ring in the center to prevent a colony of birds nests being trampled on., the road is 180m from the point you had your van any further and you would then have been complaining the site was two far from the road, any how after all your complaints you stayed on two extra nights, your gf would have been glad to get home have a 24hour soak and a change of clothes 😁

No em va agradar: Given pitch price( most expensive we have ever stayed on) facilities were very poor. Shower rooms filthy, and unfinished , especially secondary block . Pitches were not well maintained and really only 12 hard standing pitches all very close together.
Great shame , could be a fantastic site with some TLC

The location.
Small site , pitches reasonably spaced and level
Very poor phone reception.No em va agradar: The toilet facilities were shabby. The kitchen was inadequate, wrong size plug for sink. No hot water on one evening. Toilet roll not replaced when it ran out.
The restaurant on site did not seem to be doing meals. The explanation was all the staff were away on what was probably the busiest week in that area.
Cash was required for payment which wasn’t clear on the website.
The owners were lovely- really accommodating …

No em va agradar: Showers could do with mops inside for users to wipe out after use . Could do with a second toilet in the furthest away part of the site for nighttime. Feels as if it could do with Somme TLC to get a better rating .
They are plastic ribbons and you should observe private signs as that area was off bounds and as for the mats at the entrance to the shower block you are on a campsite not the entrance to an hotel people are wondering through fields on the surrounding nature trails owned by the council yes they would contain muddy boot marks from time to time get real I notice you didn't include pictures of inside the clean shower block as people reading would then know the kind of person you are and I'm sure your neighbours can't wait on your next break away we only had you for four nights they are stuck with you, and for the record if things were that bad why did you stay on four nights you could have had any payment made returned to you and left.
I have pictures of your van parked covering two electric hook ups preventing any one parking next to you with your van parked across the entire area and chairs and tables everywhere.
