No em va agradar: Toilets are not adequate for the price charged per night. For the amount paid for the stay I expected much better washing and showering facilities as I have been used to on other sites that charge less per night.
When leaving I was aware that the site liked you out by 10 am but we were running late and at 10.40 a lady approached me as I was hitching up the caravan and said Mr Williams are you leaving at which I replied yes, she then walked away without even a "hoped you enjoyed your stay" or "have a safe journey".
I can only assume that they need you out of the pitch by 10, similar to hotels so that they can prepare the pitch for the next person who are not able book in until
2 pm. Although I saw very little in the form of up keep of the pitches between occupants.
I could not recommend this site to anyone else until either it improves its facilities or lowers its price in accordance with what would be a fare price for a site of this standard.

No em va agradar: The toilets and showers desperately need updating. Very tired and a bit grubby. Felt so sorry for mums trying to shower with their small children in showers that had poor water pressure, were very small and tight and where you were standing in water as it took ages for dirty water to drain away - making dressing very tricky. This currently makes the site considerably overpriced in our view.
Thank you for your review. I'm pleased to be able to tell you that we have a new shower/toilet facility arriving in time for next season. We have been looking forward to this for a long time, so hope you return to try it out! :-)

No em va agradar: Bar advertised but only open until 6pm or if a need? Problem was people go off by day and might like a couple quiet drinks in the evening.
Thanks for your review. The bar can stay open until 9pm, but if no one is over drinking or the weather is bad then we do close up. I'm sorry it was closed at six, not sure what day that was but it's been open until 8pm all weekend.

We do sell milk, bread, bacon, sausages and a range of other things, however fresh croissants are very difficult to keep fresh. Stores are just up the road to fulfil all your requirements.

Thanks for your review Mark. I'm pleased to be able to tell you we have a new shower block facility arriving for the start of next season. It's been a want of ours for a long time and finally we have been able to do it.
Apologies for the brusque farewell, departures are often stressful and I didn't help that situation. Hope you'll try us again and see if we can do better.
