The views are amazing and makes the site worth a visit.
Facilities are good with everything you need.No em va agradar: The charges for electric - we only stayed one night so only added a nominal amount as they advised no credits available. We received a text 2hours after loading up the meter to say we were running low and we’d run out by 11pm. The pitch price £26 plus the charges for electric make this site uneconomical for us to stay.

Owners and staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and there are few sites in Cornwall that can challenge the outstanding views. The pitches are fine, the facilities excellent and if you want to start the day with an excellent breakfast at the adjacent restaurant, you can. Hard to fault in any way.
No em va agradar: There have been comments regarding the change in way electricity is charged. We have just experienced this for the first time. As Jamie has already posted, this site is charged the commercial rate for electricity, which is close to three times the household rate. Whilst it is true that the electricity is more expensive than it was, it should be noted that the camping charge made was discounted by the fuel element of the old "all inclusive" price when we booked. We have just stayed for six nights using £20 of electricity to power the charger, fridge, TV and occasional hair dryer. Heating and water heating was by gas, as we do at home....a small adjustment from using electricity for everything. We use our van all year around and note tariffs have increased everywhere, all sites having to cover this significant increased cost. The plusses for this site more than outweigh this slight adjustment on what remains one of our favorite sites and one that continues to represent excellent value in my view. We also note that new wi-fi posts are going in, so this will also improve in the near future.

Many thanks for taking the time to review the site. As previously mentioned all businesses now have seen a massive increase in electric costs and the only fair way is for guests to pay for what they use.
The price per unit is clearly stated online when you book. unlike household rates ours is a lot higher. If we didn't move with the times places like ours just wouldn't survive. And the price to stay is to insure that we have warm clean facilities and employ staff to keep the place tidy and clean. Along with hot water and showers. Hopefully we may see you again in the future.
