No em va agradar: Fishing lake is more for pike fishing than course so not suitable for our time away. This needs to be added to the description as we were looking for a fishing break. No wifi or phone service.

It was easy to pitch here. In terms of location, this is a fantastic base to explore Castle Howard and surrounding areas and there are lots of good pubs in the neighbouring villages. We look forward to returning in the warmer months.
No em va agradar: I'm not sure if there is wi-fi, but if so, we didn't get the password, but this wasn't a problem for us.

Thanks for your review. We are in a rural location and our guests often enjoy stargazing with our dark skies, or dinner in one of the lovely local pubs. The closest one is just a few minutes drive away but they are not within walking distance. It is great to know you appreciated our well laid and spacious pitches.
Very clean good showers and not bad sized pitches.

Whilst guests are restricted from walking all round the lake because there is a charge for entry to the gardens as they are part of the visitor attraction, there are some lovely walks in the area and you can enjoy beautiful views across The Great Lake of Castle Howard.
