Bit of an uneven pitch (although slight)

Peaceful place to stay. Nice size pitches. Good washroom/ showers. Very well attended. Dog excerise park. Secure.
Very central to visit places of interest ... Sennen Cove, Lands End, Cape Cornwall, Lizard Point, Minack Theatre, St. Michael's Mount, Stone Circles and also Supermarkets.

We had a lovely stay at Cardinney Caravan and Camping Park! The site is exceptionally well-maintained, with spotlessly clean facilities that made our stay very comfortable. The pitches are generously sized, giving everyone plenty of space and a real sense of privacy.

We also appreciated the small on-site shop, which was perfect for grabbing any essentials we’d forgotten. Another handy feature was the covered washing-up area — especially useful in the unpredictable Cornish weather!

What really stood out, though, was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always on hand with a smile and great local recommendations, which really added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The only small downside was the push-button showers, which need pressing every 20 seconds or so to keep the water flowing. It’s a minor inconvenience, but combined with the fact that it could get a bit chilly in the shower area, it might be worth bringing a warm towel or robe for after your shower.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. On arrival it had been raining for most of the day and expected to rain well through the night, the pitch booked had been in need of some topsoil as a running repair but because of the rain it was very muddy - we were offered an already erected large bell tent complete with a bed and chairs for the night so we didn't have to pitch up in the rain, we were also offered a double pitch to set up on the following morning since our original pitch (an extra large and serviced one) was still unfit to use. Once set up we had a fantastic two weeks. The site has ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) at the entry barriers so entry was a breeze. The dog walking field allowed our little pooch to run around and meet with the cows (through the fence) in the neighbouring field. It was my partners first proper camping trip and she was expecting it to be cold and damp, far from it and she loved it and is looking forward to the next trip! Bonus!!

The rain on our arrival - I thought this would put my partner off but the staff on site were so friendly and helpful, they won her over.

Automatic barriers meant that we could return whenever we wanted which was a nice touch. Showers and toilets were clean and the showers were very spacious. It was good that we could adjust the temperature.

It would be nice if there was another shower block as we were pitched a bit too far from it.

Toilets & showers were very clean & modern. The pitch was very private with hedging on 3 sides. Electric & water supply appears to be on each pitch with a drain below the tap so no muddy patches. Entry & exit was via a barrier with automatic number plate recognition. Enjoyed our stay.

Dogs are not allowed in the toilet block, it would have been nice to have an outside hose to rinse the dog down after he had been in the sea but we didn't see one. Also shop had very little in it, although there is a farm shop a mile or so away.

Lovely peaceful well kept site. Spacious pitches, very clean toilets and showers, our second visit, we will be back.
