Facilities good, nice level pitches with some privacy hedging.

Not greeted as promised for our unmarked pitch, tried to phone owners 10 times no answer, pitched where the only available hook up was, had to ask neighbour to move car to get in, tight spot, then hour later told by arriving camper we were in their place?? No pitch numbers and no map? We were in only available hook up as neighbour, who incidently was not in the place they booked because someone had taken their pitch, had the other hook up. The new arrival or us would have been without electric. The neighbours told us the owners were new so inexperienced. The lady owner approached us next day and was sorry about the confusion. Apparently we on wrong pitch however I explained if we were on the other pitch on of us would have been without electricity and actually the other caravan couldn't get in as the neighbours tents and cars in the way. She explained they were new and apologised for any inconvenience. I thought it was fine, until the (man) owner came on the last day as we were packing up to ask why were where on wrong pitch, I explained I had spoken to someone(him) on the phone who assured me they would be here as I was afraid I'd end up on wrong pitch as not marked and no map, I said I'd rung several times(10) but no answer, he said "there is always someone here!", he said "you are on a hard pitch you booked a grass", I said "there was no electric on grass one," he said "that's why we tell you to bring 15 metre cable", I said "if there was someone on this pitch we'd have no electric as tent neighbour had taken the other hook up, actually they shouldn't have been there but their pitch was occupied when they arrived, also another caravan would not gave got in due to the position of the neighbours tents and cars, not enough room for everyone". He said "um". I honestly wasn't expecting this confrontation, especially after speaking to lady owner. If he'd been there as he said he would,( I'd told him the time I was arriving), or quite simply put a stick in the ground with a number on this wouldn't have been an issue. He did ask if we liked our stay, I said yes and would probably be back, and I wished him well with the rest of the season. He nodded and walked away, afterwards I thought where was my apology? and actually it felt like a bit if an attack that I had to defend, left us with a bad taste, not to mention the bad smell from the dog bin that wasn't emptied every day.!!

Quiet, clean, well kept, hedges giving a degree of privacy. Friendly, helpful, welcoming.

Excellent site very spacious pitches, most of which are serviced,, clean and modern facilities, large off lead dog area , nothing was too much trouble, even moved pitches so was in the sun ,, plenty of hot water and clean area for washing pots,, super friendly staff, excellent wifi,, coverage very peaceful

We really liked the facilities that was provided on site, very clean showers and toilets. The space between the pitches was perfect, and privacy was good being surrounded by hedges.

The campsite was dog friendly, with a dog exercise area. Which was really beneficial for our dog and her needs.

We had a slight problem at the pitch when we arrived and the shop was already closed, but rang the number on the door and help arrived very quickly.

The pitches were generous and has hedges for privacy.
Very peaceful and quiet site.
Good position to visit St Ives, Sennen Cove, Lands End, St Michael's Mount, Newlyn, Penzance, etc.

Grass cuttings in shower block which also got in your tent.

Nice easy online check in, campsite easy to find, toilet block and showers not too far from pitch, lovely quiet site, had a lovely stay
