Easy walk to catch the train to San Sebastian and Bilbao (very cheap and incredibly prompt service). Lovely walk into Zumaia from the site. Leave the van on its pitch and explore further afield on foot and by the superb local transport system - what's not to love.

Clean and well maintained site. A fabulous and clean toilet and shower block. Great views if you can get the right pitch, all services great and very efficient.
Supermarket was well-stocked but you have to be up early to ger bread, croissants and Veinnoiserie as the early morning motorhome movers-out grab that on their way out.
Lovely situation, walking distance into Zumaia and with access to a great swathe of North Spanish coast.
Generally very nice.
No em va agradar: Pitches are too close together. Our original pitch was overlooked by teepees 4 ft higher and no barrier (so teepee people overlook you)! This was a nightmare for the people on our original pitch on our last night; A Spanish family arrived late (11;30PM)
and babbled loudly all night until 7AM. We heard it, but the guys in the campervan on our original pitch were deafened and left first thing next morning.I complained to a manager who apologised. We also left that morning, because we were there a day too long, and to be fair,they refunded us for our dogs (that we didn't take in the end, but also gave us a day discount as we cut the visit short.
Food in the restaurant was ok but not recommendable, service and everything else was always good.
Outdoor swimming pool unusable and covered in a layer of black soot or something so very unattractive and unsavoury.
Lots of movement on this site, there were many Motorhomes passing through for a night or two, meaning a lot of noise and movement on the pitches.
Not a moan, because we were right there via sat-nav (towing 8m Caravan) Needs better signposting (Look for CANPINAS signs on the last roundabout and you will go straight there. We missed them 3 times!
Thank you very much for your evaluation. It is true that on these dates there have been more people than usual for these dates. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the family who did not let them rest despite notifying them of the quiet time. On the other hand, we recommend reserving the bread and the veinoiserie the day before so as not to have to wait the 20 minutes it takes us to make it, but you can always ask us even if there is no left. Have a good continuation of your trip.
