Super Gastgeber. Sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und behilflich. Toll war der brandneue Pool (ein Monat alt), man konnte per Karte zahlen. Tolles Essenangebot am Abend. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Concrete hard standing next to the river. Swimming pool just right for an evening dip. Quiet site set in amongst trees and old French farm buildings. Small bar with drinks and food if wanted. Lovely owners.

Nothing liked it so much stayed an extra night

Lovely clean facilities. Kids loved the pool as did we. Pitch was the biggest I’ve stayed on in France. Lovely relaxed atmosphere at the site bar and the best burger I’ve ever had! Massive thank you to the owners children for engaging with our children, teaching them to fish on the river and playing football, not remotely intrusive. Would highly recommend this campsite if you want to relax, enjoy an evening glass of wine with the other sociable people staying or simply lie in the sun by the pool. Would especially like to mention the owners who are happy to help you with anything they can and go above and beyond. We had stayed here a few years ago and the improvements the new owners have made are fantastic. Cannot wait to come back!

There is nothing you could dislike about this campsite!

Absolutely loved this campsite for our overnight stop from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Lovely welcome from the owner and family. Facilities are excellent and the pool was perfect. Everyone was very friendly.

Absolutely nothing

Lovely setting. Pool was very nice. Clean campsite and good space between pitches. Shower block and toilets modern, and mostly clean. Friendly and nice owners. Lots of helpful things such as a communal freezer and clothes washing facilities. Dish washing area very clean and spacious. Nice hot and roomy showers. Had dinner one night from the bar which was very nice. Nice bar and seating area. It's helpful that they have free WiFi.

At times toilets were blocked and a bit dirty. We booked caravan with an eco toilet and shower because we were hoping to use it a few times at least- happy to clean etc them ourselves. (nothing in the booking process said it would be not in use.) When we got there a few of the family members of the owner hinted that they didn't want us to use water often, and the toilet not at all. We didn't but after one quick use of the water the pump broke and had to be replaced the next day. We ended up just using the shower block/toilets/sink cleaning. Frustrating as we would have just brought our tent instead of we had known and all the extra equipment we needed. The fridge wasn't very cold and the freezer didn't freeze anything. The caravan itself was not really fit for renting. The door lock was very tricky and hard to lock and unlock. Half the insect curtains were broken. One window was broken. The tap was broken and kept falling off, which ended up using too much water trying to fix it to turn it off. The cupboards had spider nests in them and got all over our clothes. Some of the glasses/cutlery weren't clean. The caravan was placed on a slope so that water in the shower couldn't drain, therefore we couldn't clean it properly before we left. We booked it because it was listed as peaceful and tranquil, but there was quite a lot of shouting all day and evening most days from the owners family. Pool was lovely, but difficult to use at times as it felt like we were intruding on the owners and there child's space, and it felt very awkward. Overall it did feel a little like we were intruding on the families space and we couldn't quite relax because of a lack of boundaries . Maybe it's more of a campsite for people intending to make new friends, so not necessarily bad, just a little overwhelming for us. The WiFi was patchy.

Space around the pitches, we could play badminton and frisbee next to the pitch. Wifi included

Intrusive owner's children. Toilet blockage problems. Noisy road. No kids play area. Too many Brits. The area doesn't have a lot going on.

Would highly recommend this beautiful simple calm Campsite. And we thoroughly enjoyed staying here for one night and will put it on our list to come back to on one of our next road trips. Especially big thank you to Adam for his patience and showing our young children how to fish.

This is a small site that is probably likely to suit those who want to combine the peace and quiet with the opportunity to visit the many chateaux and historic sites of the Loire Valley. The friendly owners and their two children make this a site that is remembered for many reasons. They all work hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Nothing is too much trouble for them and their efforts combine to make a highly recommended place to stay in a quiet and peaceful area. We stayed on a hard standing with water and electricity but you’re free to choose where you want to pitch your tent or caravan. Some areas offer shade from the trees and bushes while others are in full sun. The new swimming pool is a welcome addition and the food on offer in the snack bar is first rate. Although the toilets and showers are older they are well kept and the water is very hot. Washing up facilities are in the same location along with a freezer which can be used to keep or freeze frozen foods and ice packs for no extra charge. Bikes are available for hire and there are storage facilities for caravans.

There is a little road noise from the nearby road.

Scenic, quiet, relaxed site with hall of the amenities you could wish for. The pool was a huge bonus but the bar area, amazing showers, cleanliness and warm welcome all made the experience that bit better. Visited local chateau (villandry 45mins) and kayaking (40mins). Lovely to have day trips and return to this beautiful site.
