The toilets and showers were frequently cleaned by a very friendly owner. Each pitch had a fire pit and picnic table. Very affordable too

We had a fantastic week camping at Caldbeck camp site very friendly and helpful staff. Shower and toilet facilities very clean and checked throughout the day lovely relaxing, peaceful and well maintained camp site plenty of walks straight off the site also a pub, 2 coffee shops and a general store with in 5mins from the site what more could you want enjoyed every minute.

Nothing to dislike about our experience, loved every minute.

Lovely site, beautiful view by the stream. Toilets and shower block very clean and private. Perfect ground for pitching up and lovely little village surrounding. Would recommend the local pub for a nice meal.

Location for local shop, pub and cafe (all good too). Great for walking too.
The little touches, fire pits, benches, paper towels, matting.
The friendliness of the owners. Could not do enough at anytime.
Very rural too with great wildlife, sheep, birds etc.

Lovely campsite. Very friendly people. Facilities were great. Went on a little hike with 3 young children and a teenager who all went for a swim in the river.

It was a beautiful site, the toilets and showers were really clean all the time. the site is really small so it was always really quiet which was lovely to have a break and really relax. each pitch also had its own picnic table and fire pit which we really enjoyed. and there was a walking trail on the campsite.

Because the site is in a small town there wasn’t much to do where the site was, however if you drive about 30 minutes away there are zoos, aquariums and walks to do.

Beautiful campsite. Very warm welcome when we arrived . Site is spotless . Lovely and quiet , if you are looking for somewhere for maximum relaxation this site is ideal . The Cumbrian Way passes through it so is ideal for walkers . Toilets and showers were always very clean . Wash-up area has a lot of information about the local area, as well as a charge point . Pitches are set either side of the path and are well kept , mats are provided for outside your tent for wet weather which is an excellent idea . 5 min walk to the pub through the beautiful village. There is a fresh milk vending station in the village as well as a well stocked shop. This was the first time we had camped this far north in the lakes , but it was an ideal centre for touring some magnificently beautiful scenery . Will definitely be back .

This is not the campsites fault , but public transport only runs at the weekends , there is none during the week .

Clean, showers, toilets, charging point, your own picnic table,fire pit and everything thing else. The owners go above and beyond to keep the site spotless and clean. The cost of staying here is very reasonable. I like the quiet rule at 10pm

Everything! The campsite is meticulously maintained in a spectacular location next to the beck. Facilities are kept very clean and there are plenty of walks straight from the campsite.
