The owner was very welcoming, site was very quiet and had a lovely walk coming from it. Facilities were always clean and shower was lovely and warm. Really nice campsite, recommend!

Really enjoyed staying here, just what I wanted. Liked the fact that there was a picnic table and fire pit on most if not all the pitches. Toilets and showers on site that were clean plus washing up sinks. Yes there were spiders in them but that is expected when in a field. 3-5 minutes walk into village

The campsite is right on the cumbria way which I was walking on. I had a spacious grass slot with a little table/bench.
Although the viewa are not spectecular it is still a nice quitet countrysite camp site.
Nice and clean facilities with an almost too hot shower.

Everything about the site, Facilities were fantastic, the location, cleanliness. Pitches are very well marked out for boundaries and loved the picnic benches on each pitch and the fire pits. Over all, A beautiful maintained camping site in a lovely village and surroundings.

Nothing to fault

Location - close to the village, which has a few shops, a pub, cafe and milk farm. There are lots of walks and good cycle routes nearby and its very peaceful at the site. Smaller camp site, with level pitches, which was perfect.

Facilities - there is a wash shed for cleaning your dishes, the toilets and showers are very clean, well stocked and maintained.

Staff - very friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely fantastic, such a lovely campsite, facilities are brilliant and the shower was amazing 😍 site is very well kept and the owners are friendly and there when needed. WE stayed for 3 nights very good value with electric and pitch comes with a picnic bench and firepit which we made use of. Although a public path runs through the campsite it was mainly walkers/hikers doing the Cumbria way passing through. There is a small village with a little shop, a pub and petrol pump would definitely recommend and will definitely return .

We had a great stay at Caldbeck. The welcome was friendly and the arrival instructions were clear, which made settling in easy. The pitch was a good size, facilities were well maintained, and phone signal was reliable. The surrounding walks were lovely, and the village is charming.

A couple of minor issues: some dogs weren’t kept on leads, and a few people didn’t stick to the site speed limit. Overall, a really enjoyable campsite that I’d happily return to.
