Caldbeck was a lovely and very welcoming village, not only does the campsite have a great river running past it and with some nice clean facilities, they also have brilliant walks no matter what way you go and a pub that does really nice food and also just as welcoming.

Best campsite I’ve stayed on. From the private shower block with free hot water to the accessible drinking water in the washing station. All around amazing site that I will be coming back to, as a seasoned solo traveler, I couldn’t recommend enough!

Wonderful site, peaceful and tucked away if you want a relaxing break. The facilities are clean and stocked and the staff were lovely 😊

The location - next to the river with field views and just a few minutes walk into the lovely village of Caldbeck. The facilities were just right and the shower and toilets were kept clean.

Good sized pitch with electric hook up.
Matts supplied for around the tent in bad weather.
Picnic bench and fire pit for each pitch.
Showers, toilets and wash up area were all spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water.
Owners were friendly and helpful.
Dogs are allowed.
