Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: There were huge crayfish in the river and the ducks love it there, beautiful location. The pitches were really big and the facilities lovely and warm.
The staff are amazing, welcoming and happy to help. The shop is well stocked and it is pretty much a camping shop with the addition of food essentials.
We requested a riverside pitch and on the day we arrived it was sunny and we enjoyed the pitch location, the next day it rained a LOT. We had to move to a pitch on higher ground, the river was overwhelmed and overflowed in places. Our pitch being one of them, it is out of anyone's control and it was handled by the staff brilliantly.
No em va agradar: The showers are press button (like most sites) but the time they stay on for is approximately 3 seconds which is enough to wet your arm and makes wetting or washing hair a pain.
Time needs to be extended or the press buttons need replacing, most likely the latter as the function will only last so long.
Thank you for the review but I think you’ve got the wrong site….no river here we do have proper showers though which stay on as long as you like…..

Staff very friendly and explained everything on arrival. Toilets/ very clean along with pot washing area. Lovely walks from site. Will be back again.

Site is so peaceful yet only a few minutes drive away from local shops if you need anything.
Hired a fire pit for the evenings we were there- very reasonably priced and lovely to sit by each evening star gazing and toasting marshmallows.
Staff are friendly and welcoming. Facilities clean.
Our daughter loved the goats, chickens and resident cat.
Lots to do in local area.
