Tent pitches with electric, showers, washing up station, wifi, shop, swimming pool, park, bar/cafe and access to walks straight from the campsite. Can reach nearby towns easily on foot and by car.

Good location for exploring cheddar and the surrounding areas. The food in the lodge is simple but tasty and very reasonably priced.
No em va agradar: Very tired shower and washing up facilities. There is a sign saying ‘under refurbishment’ but from reviews I’ve read it appears they’ve been ‘under refurbishment’ for some time. There were hundreds of dead flies around the sinks that were old and stuck to the sink- not very nice.

No em va agradar: Not disliked but pool shower and toilets are the same as the clubhouse so not for the modest if you’re changing or showering when the clubhouse opens.

Food was great in the Bar Grill, would recommend.
15 minutes to Wells with its beautiful cathedral and 15 minutes to Cheddar George with its stunning views. So really placed spot on for travelling to see the local sites.No em va agradar: The toilets and showers definitely need an upgrade. They did have signs up to say they were currently due to be upgraded however they weren't when we visited.
