The site is perfect for us. Very quiet and peaceful. Hot, free showers. Excellent facilities . Clean. Beautiful countryside, central to all the Somerset places to visit. We extended our stay twice while we were there . Thank you Bucklegrove.

Nothing to dislike

Friendly welcome and good information about local area. Bus stop right outside the park was great for the bus into Wells and Cheddar. Handy back lane to walk to the local
Pub for drinks and food too.

Dangerous fast main road so wouldn’t walk along it.
Showers and toilets could do with upgrading but worked ok

Lovely addition of the small swimming pool. It was nice and close to cheddar and as we went out of season, it was always quiet and clean in the toilets.

Our first pitch was a little dark and dingy in a corner so asked and moved to another pitch.
There was some work going on on the road through the site so workers were loud at 7.30 on one of the morning.

Great location for Cheddar with stunning views. Well stocked shop with pool, bar & restaurant.
Nice quiet site with good security, friendly staff, great showers/toilets.
I had a nice few days here just enjoying the peace & quiet.

All was good

Very peaceful and very clean, lovely little bar with children's outside play area, also the pool was a bonus, only 9 min drive from Wookey hole and they gave us a 10% discount code, we had hard standing in the strawberry field and the pitch was a good size. Really good free wifi, For the price I can't fault this place, we will definitely be staying again.

Fantastic site with amazing staff, lovely pitch on the Grove, nice and level near to the toilets.
The bar is well recommended and the food is lovely, very dog friendly site, a lovely break away from city fireworks in the Somerset countryside.
Plus poppy our Patterdale loved it.

The staff were very friendly, the onside shop was very quaint and had all the essentials we needed, it's also dog friendly so you don't have to leave your fur babies tied outside in the cold. The bar grill was a nice place to go on Saturday night with a great singer. Nice safe park for the kids, we didn't have any but we're quite a few there. Lodges looked amazing, some with hot tubs. The short pathway to the bar was great, with model animals including a monkey in a tree, I thought that was a great touch. There is awalk to the Mendips from the site, we didn't do it as weather wasn't great.

We didn't really like where we were pitched, up on the side bank, there were nicer pitches with bushes either side which made it much more private, we woul have preferred one of them. It felt like we were at the back of beyond. I wasn't that impressed with our toilet block, it could do with updating.

Friendly and well maintained. Excellent service from the reception. Facilities were clean and regularly checked. Entertainment if you wanted but quiet site if you didn’t. Well situated for Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells, Glastonbury, and Street.
