Lovely site for all ages. Pool was a big hit also the park. We had a nice pitch. They have a shop on site, bar, showers and toilet block. My children didn’t want to leave.

Only thing that let this campsite down was the cleanliness of the showers and toilets. Hairs in showers floor sticky just wasn’t great. If the showers was cleaned more then I really wouldn’t have anything to dislike about this place. Big hit for children and us adults.

Swimming pool, quietness and location :)

Shop and restaurant beeing a bit overpriced.

Great location near Cheddar attractions and shops, large pitch and quiet at night. Friendly staff, and good quality and value food in the onsite bar. Swimming pool very clean but does get busy so you need to time it right.

The pitch we had was up with the seasonal pitches which was very quiet so that we liked.
Although some maintenance of the site is needed as there were metal pegs sticking out of the ground.
The kids loved the little animal trail down to the clubhouse.

The toilets and shower rooms haf a bad smell and I had to clean before using the sinks , the play area was super small and heavily occupied.
The swimming pool is very small only really held 10 people comfortably and the tiny changing room smelled like urine.
The pitch we were given for a family of 5 was very small would have wanted bigger had we been staying longer.

It was nice not to have to book a slot anymore in the pool, the swimming was free and easy.

Only had one warm shower during the whole week.

The set up of the campsite is really accessible. We had an electric hook up and 2 cars
A 1yo and 4yo.
The toilets and showers were clean
They had hot water both times I showered and nice powerful showers.
There’s a little woodland alleyway with animal statues which the kids loved.
We went swimming and again the pool was a good temperature and although small it was enough for our kids. There was a couple of older boys messing around but were soon asked to leave as they weren’t accompanied by an adult.
The play area was good. During the weekend of half term was busy but that’s to be expected.
They had a singer on which my kids loved to have a little boogie.
For the cost and location you couldn’t ask for more really. Staff were friendly and close to different towns for things to do
The amount of wild animals I heard as well. I laid for ages listening to an owl fly round hooting.

Not the campsites fault but the first night we had bad windy weather and were under a residents caravan who had a flag and it was flapping around all night making a load of noise and woke my youngest up at 5.30am.
Leaving at 11am can be a struggle with 2 young ones and tent
The food in clubhouse wasn’t amazing. We had a pizza which was alright. But the chips and chicken nuggets were really greasy. My daughters wouldn’t even eat the chips. They just tasted of oil.

Site is fantastic. Pool and bar are brilliant

The main toilet block could do with slightly more regular checking and cleaning

Great location brilliant friendly helpful staff. Our car broke down on the second from last day and we needed recovery truck to tow us and caravan home!! The wardens helped us so much even blocked out the pitch all day on the day we were leaving as unsure when recovery truck would arrive then offered to tow our caravan to the recovery truck when it arrived as truck was unable to get on to the site. These guys went over and above and really helped us in a very stressful situation. Thank you for all your help x

Beautiful views, friendly staff wonderful atmosphere clean toilets and showers the kids loved everything heated indoor pool the best campsite we have visited in a long time

The site was well maintained and nice to look at with flowers dotted through out. The facilities were kept clean and not crowded, never had to wait for a toilet or sink. The pool was lovely (heavy on chlorine) especially on our first day when it was 30oC. The bar had a great selection of ciders on tap and played great music most nights of the week. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The showers are turned on by a temperature controlled twister knob and to get it cool enough for my sensory sensitive daughter I had to almost turn the shower off.
The pitch we were on (electric in strawberry field) was also slightly angled so we rolled in bed a bit.
