Owners popped by and gave some information for the local area. Really helpful when I called as we went off to find the iron age hill fort ( it was further than we thought), but a beautiful walk there and back.

And even though in a quiet location... there was plenty of phone signal, not required for some but essential for us. From site there were some wonderful walks, and a lovely pub in the village nearby, all within walking distance. This is a back to basics place, so if self sufficient and want a peaceful field with surrounding country side walks, it a perfect spot for £18.
No em va agradar: Wish they had left some detail on how to access the walk into town or over to Old Winchester Hill. Would have saved us a bit of hassle clambering through a field and bushes.

No em va agradar: Only for those with own facilities as no toilets or wash facilities available on onsite. Elsan and water only.

The pitch was level with access to a communal water tap, with the most beautiful, peaceful setting. No toilets or showers, but this is highlighted, and was not an issue as we are are fully equipped to be off-grid. I stayed with my boy, and he had so much fun exploring the area and taking pictures of the wild life. Plenty of lovely walks available from.site location, with access to the South Downs. This is definitely a site we will be returning to in the not to distant future.
