What a cool place!
Great pitch size, picturesque farm and having the ‘Black Barn’ farm shop on site was just a bonus. Bought some succulent pork chops to cook on the barbie and some home made relish’s.

Toilet/shower block was fab, very clean, new, functional.

Great location to base ourselves to explore Norfolk.

The location was easy to get to, no navigating B roads. The pitches on the farm had a real back to nature feel as the dividers were wild flowers lovely touch. It was quiet, In the evening the trees were lit up which was quite atmospheric. The young lady that met us was very pleasant. Also a short Drive to Norwich or Great Yarmouth

The pitches are all large, flat and separated by small hedges, each with water and EHU. The toilet and shower room is extremely well maintained, being inside the back of the black barn, a huge farm shop with excellent, dog-friendly cafe on the first floor. There are two sinks outside the shower room (but undercover) with very hot water for washing up.

The WiFi from the cafe was switched off and EE has very poor reception there, but that isn’t the fault of the campsite.
You don’t check in, just find a pitch and they check your reg later -a bit confusing when we first arrived.

Good size grass pitch with electric water and grey waste disposal, very peaceful adults only site, great location walked to The Stag pub which has excellent food. Farm shop and cafe onsite, and excellent toilet/shower facilities, will definitely visit again, very convenient for Norwich centre.

Great location having a cafe butchers and a few shops on site was good.The facilities were very clean and staff were very helpful, We have a outdoor revolution 9dse tent it fitted on the pitch and room for trailer down the side , and each night we had a lovely view of the moon coming up , WiFi a bit hit and miss , Adult only site

This site is a hidden gem. It is hidden and we struggled to find it, but it what a find! What 3 words will get you there. “Shipyards.thighs.embedded” The pitches are a good size and they are all hedged, although still growing it gives each pitch a private area. In the Black Barn there is a lovely restaurant serving amazing food from 9am. There are also food outlets, crafts, artists, a florist and coming soon a new furniture outlet. We stayed for three nights and ate in the restaurant every morning. The site is beautifully kept and the scenery is stunning. There’s a bus stop about 100 yards along the road, with a direct bus into Norwich.

The only thing I’d change here if I could would be the shower rooms, they are a bit on the small side. The showers themselves are lovely and water pressure is great.

Clean and quiet site, very helpful staff (young lady even pointed out where the sun rises and sets so we could choose an ideal pitch).
Fantastic onsite retail set-up with all locally produced food, drink, arts and craft available. As for the restaurant upstairs, well you know it's going to be good when the car park is heaving and people are queuing (though not for long). We opted to sit outside on the mezzanine veranda, and on the Saturday morning were entertained by a singing duo, softly in the background, performing covers by various artists. Food was amazing and reasonably priced, it was so good we abandoned plans to cook our own tent breakfast on Sunday and went back to the restaurant instead !!
To top it off there was a farmers market on the Saturday morning, I believe this takes place once or twice every month but check their website to confirm, consisting of some 25 or so retailers, needless to say we ended up spending far more than we intended when we "went to have a look" !!!

Having to go home !!!

The shower and toilet facilities were clean and big, lovely quiet field and nice to walk to pooch around in the mornings! The restaurant/cafe was a perfect addition to mornings too!

We wish that Black Barn Farm restaurant was open later as we would be happy to eat there for dinner too as it was so lovely and welcoming for us and the dog

That it is an adults only site. With generous level pitches Just a bus ride from Norwich or Wroxham.
The barn now contains some shops and a cafe.
We were at this site last year, it's good
to see it go from strength to strength.

Love the site and each time we return something else has been added or improved. Trevor and Ellie work so hard and it shows! Lovely quiet site, a few shops, lovely walks round the orchards, great busy restaurant and clean facilities. We will definitely be booking again, thank you!
