Enjoyed and happy with our stay here.

One of the toilets in the campsite is really dirty, with all the sinks blocked and water everywhere on the floor, a bit disappointed with that.

Second time to this campsite, friendly staff, very beautiful place and good pitch size. Not many activities during this time visit but we still enjoyed our stay.

The toilet cleanliness is a bit disappointed this time.

The environment is superb! You have forest/wood, and lakes. The facilities are good (don't expect heating on a freezing day though for the showers) with plenty of hot water. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is it! The following day I met some very helpful members of staff both in the woods (I was looking for the bike hire) and reception. During my walks around the site, I saw some deers running around. In the mornings I was treated to beautiful sunrises! Would recommend it for both solo traveling and families (loads to do for the kids).

The check-in was confusing. After I located reception, I was met by a member of staff who gave me my allocated pitch. She was a little impatient with me as I did not understand the layout of the camp. I know it was nearly five o'clock and maybe she had a long day but being understanding and courteous costs nothing. I would definitely recommend some directional signage for the different camping areas.
Lastly, it said that there was a cafe with wifi however it was closed for the 3 days I stayed.

There looked to be lots of activities available for adults & children to do during the day.
Lots of biking tracks nearby.
Very friendly welcome when we arrived late on the Friday.

Toilets & showers - mixed sex & as a woman that meant they were not as clean as women’s facilities normally are! Also at least 2 of the showers couldn’t be used because the doors were broken & if you did get to one that was lockable there’s no space to get dry- useless if you have a toddler. Also very disappointed with the disabled showering/toileting facilities as we went with our disabled daughter & they were dirty, clearly used by anyone that didn’t want to use the mixed sex toilets (i.e. everyone campers & day visitors) & the main shower head barely worked as it was so blocked with limescale.
Tents etc lovely & spaced out because of the season but we wouldn’t go back in high season as the marked out pitches are close together & not just round the edge so I imagine it would feel quite hemmed in.

Spacious, beautiful surroundings, lots of brilliant activities to suit older children. Fishing lake for my Dad. Plenty of showers and hot water.
