No em va agradar: Haphazard arrangements of water taps, one actually didn't work. The washing up "facilities" are a joke. Booking arrangements were sent out very late; at 4pm [we having left home in the morning] so we were lucky to arrive before the staff had gone home. They first told us we were only booked for one night when in fact it was two.
When we woke on the first morning we had no electricity it had somehow been turned off during the night. Definitely got the impression that camping was very much secondary to the main events of swimming and diving. Tried the wi-fi which wouldn't work. We won't be going again.
Some taps have been turned off for the winter as we reduce our capacity- as you were one of only three campers on site I am not sure that having our usual 4 taps operational would have been necessary. As you will have read on our listing when booking- we do not advertise as having washing up "facilities." As you would have also read when booking "Reception is unmanned after 5 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch." Though you did not inform us of a late arrival, you still received pitch and access information prior to your arrival, and site greeting you when you arrived and informed you of your pitch number and other relevant information. Your campervan tripped the electricity during the night- which is a standard safety element to prevent overloading. Wifi was operational during your stay- much like many of the rest of your complaints I can only assume this was human error on your part.

Quiet location and perfect as a base to get straight onto the river Hamble for walking and paddling. The old shop pub at the bottom of the lane is great and serves good food. WiFi worked right to the top of the field:))

No em va agradar: Pitch was very small and right by the gate (pitch one). Seems like it’s more geared up for divers than holiday makers. Didn’t find the staff overly helpful.
