What an array of active options is around splendidly set and popular Kamp Koren, in the Julian Alps close to the Italian border. And what an array of options is around without having to stir from the site too, including a fab adventure park with a high ropes course for swinging contentedly high up above. A climbing wall awaits for more high-up activity in this excellent mountain setting, along with a volleyball court, table tennis and pétanque court if your holiday tastes very much do not tend towards swinging among trees or expending much effort. The site's serene setting on the banks of the Soča river has it well placed for fishing too, or you can take to the waters for some kayaking, rafting or canyoning a few minutes' walk away. Kamp Koren is an eco-friendly site, a kilometre from the town centre of Kobarid and 10 from both the Italian border and Triglav National Park. The surrounding area has heaps more outdoor activities to tackle, including hiking and mountain biking on trails suitable for a range of abilities; guests can hire mountain bikes from the site and staff can help organise further activities including fishing, kayaking and paragliding. In winter, try skiing and other snowy sports at Kanin-Sella Nevea within a short drive. Whatever type of activity you plump for on or around the site, a fably luxurious evening will be available afterwards at the site's swish sauna, followed by a beer or two at the bar or a peaceful evening in the TV room. Or just amble around the grounds as the sun sets: spectacular mountain views are yours for the taking in almost any spot.

Aquest càmping destaca per la seva ubicació impressionant a la vall del Soča, vora un riu refrescant i envoltat de muntanyes, ideal per anar en bicicleta i fer senderisme. El personal és molt apreciat per la seva amabilitat, les instal·lacions estan netes i l'ambient és agradable. Tot i algun comentari sobre els equipaments infantils i la Wi-Fi limitada, la natura, la proximitat a botigues i el bon restaurant són grans avantatges. Em va agradar Krásné okolí - v blízkosti řeka, hory, les....
Obsluha byla milá a příjemná, také byli ochotní nám poradit a pomoct.
Elektrika byla kousek dál od míst pro stany, ale obsluha nám půjčila prodlužovací kabel, takže jsme vůbec neměli problém a měli jsme elektriku až do stanu.
Pitná voda (zdá se jako samozřejmost, ale vystřídali jsme více kempů a nejednou jsme se setkali s tím, že nebylo jisté, zda je voda pitná).
Čisté záchody a koupelna.
Uzamčený prostor, brána ke stanům.
Celkově čistý a hezký kemp.

No em va agradar U většiny míst pro stany se nedalo parkovat přímo tam (my nakonec dostali místo, kde se parkovat dalo a i kdybychom je nedostali, parkovalo se asi 20 metrů od stanů, ale už to mi přijde nepříjemné).
Wifi pouze dole v restauraci/recepci a její blízkosti. Do stanů internet vůbec nedosáhl, což byl velký problém vzhledem k tomu, že tam nebyl ani signál.
Ve sprše se měnila teplota vody, voda tekla vždycky chvíli a člověk musel pořád mačkat čudlík, aby voda tekla.

Imødekommende og hjælpsom personale.
Lækker mad på deres restaurant, som var absolut rimeligt med priserne.

No em va agradar Bad forholdende er noget klemte og der er er ringe plads til at have et barn (3 årig) med sig ind i bad.
Teenagerne var pressede over det dårlig internet og ditto stedets wifi - vi andre fandt det næsten befriende 😉

After active times fishing, canoeing, canyoning, mountain biking or hiking on and around the site, have a day of sightseeing at local town Kobarid, a kilometre away. Kobarid is best known as the site of the World War I Battle of Caporetto, when Austro-Hungarian forces clashed with Italian troops. Ernest Hemingway told the tale of the battle in his novel A Farewell to Arms; have an afternoon in the award-winning museum in the town centre to find out about it for yourself. World War I history hunters also have the Kolovrat outdoor museum within half an hour, around the trenches of the time dug between Kobarid and Tolmin. A hike of 30 minutes will take you to the Kozjak waterfall, among the most famed in Slovenia. Set out on a marked trail from Kobarid through the forest to reach its waters with emerald green pool at the bottom, a spectacular sight that's one of the regions must-sees. Kanin-Sella Nevea ski resort is 20 kilometres away.
