Liked: Much better facilities since I last visited two years ago. The new shower block is excellent and now free to use. There is now a cafe/bar, restaurant and farm shop and the scenery, as always, is just great! I saw a previous review saying that it was just a muddy field, which is not true... they must have stayed at a muddy time! There are several fields to chose from, but only one with electric hook-ups. The new wild-flower meadow (where you can camp) is amazing to see.

Disliked: We were lucky to have a pretty even pitch for our tent, but looking around at potential other pitches for next time, it was clear that some of the pitches are quite uneven or on a slope. Not a major major problem, but something to be aware of when booking. Paying 'per person' rather than 'per pitch' makes it less value-for-money for a family. At £7.50 adult, £3.50 child, £21 a night to camp is expensive!

Overpriced muddy farm field, sad and neglected

Liked: The view wasn't bad and there is a pub 300 yards away.

Disliked: The site at Wing is just a big muddy field with the addition of some power points. There are some very primitive showers and toilets. If this was a £7.50 certified location it would be ok, but at £17.50 plus purchase of electric card for £5 plus showers at 50p it represents very poor value for money. The Elsan point was a health hazard with no running water provided. The site needs love, care and investment. AVOID.
