Liked: Didn't stay long enough to find anything that I liked.

Disliked: We had booked two hard standing caravan pitches for the summer bank holiday weekend. The pitches that we were allocated at the time of booking were in the Green Zone next to each other.
On arrival we found that they had booked us on a pitch in the Green Zone and our friends on a pitch in the Red Zone. These pitches are literally a car drive away from each other. My four year old daughter would not have been capable of walking up the steep hill between the pitches. The reception staff agreed to relocate us to the Red Zone, telling us that our pitch would be opposite our friends. The two pitches were in adjacent fields at an approximate distance of 200 yards from each other!!!
The pitch that our friends had was waterlogged and to their dismay had a pile of dog faeces on it. Our pitch was very difficult to get to due to the mud, when we finally got the caravan onto the pitch; it was literally like a swamp. Totally unsuitable for tents or caravans. We decided that we could not stay in this location and returned to the reception to complain.
The response that we were greeted with at the reception was absolutely awful. We were blamed for their error in the booking process. We told them that the pitches that they had given us were not what we had requested and we were leaving the site and we wanted a refund. We were told that the sites policy is not to give refunds, which in some cases is understandable but not when they are at fault. After several minutes of a very nonsensical argument they agreed to refund us, but only the £30 that we had paid on arrival and not the £40 deposit we had paid when we booked. We asked to speak to the owner or manager and were told that there wasn’t anybody on site that we could escalate the complaint to. This in its self is unacceptable on such a large site on a bank holiday weekend.
I can not speak for the whole site but the RED ZONE is what I would consider to be an overflow area that due to the adverse weather (obviously not the sites fault) was not suitable for camping or caravanning. The attitude of the staff is very dismissive and rude. I would never recommend this site to anyone and would never entertain the idea of staying there.

Liked: It had been raining heavily before we arrived at Conwy Touring Park, but the pitches were dry, spacious and offered plenty of room for our tents and car. This site is by far the biggest we have camped on and each plot of pitches are divided up by hedgerows and trees, which offered much more privacy.
The scenery surrounding the park is outstanding, overlooking the River Conwy and the estuary: just wonderful.

There are plenty of toilet and shower blocks which are cleaned every day to a very high standard. The pub has a decent selection and is reasonable priced and the play area is excellent. The site is about a five minute drive from Conwy and there is also a large Tesco close by. Overall, a good base for touring North Wales. I won’t hesitate to book again!

Disliked: Nothing!
