Liked: Alan & Pam run a very clean site and abd are enviroment friendly with very clear recycling. Disliked: nothing that I disliked really although getting use to a shower curtain again was challenging |

Liked: Extremely clean Disliked: Nothing really - road noise is evident but not all pervading & we were aware of it before we came so not a problem.

Thank you very much for your review. It was lovely to meet you and we hope you got home safely to Bristol. We do have five showers in our shower block. We get so many comments about them being at the perfect temperature, free of charge and of course that they are always very clean. We hope you visit us again. |

Thank you so much for this review. We have just had one of our busiest times of the year and all went very well with everyone finding our facilities more than adequate. As you may be aware, the AA and EnjoyEngland have set criteria for the ratio of showers, toilets and wash-hand basins to pitches and we have more than is required. We look forward to your return visit. |

Liked: the location was perfect as a base for Somerset/ Devon and Dorset the local pub is very very good food was excelent Disliked: no proper internet connection

Thank you very much for your kind comments. We are so pleased that your wife was able to benefit from our disabled suite. We have been able to provide this room to many of our disabled customers and they have all spoken highly of it. We also have a Blackforest Lodge that is fully converted for customers who are mobility impaired. We do explain to our customers that the strongest WiFi signal can be obtained in our Reception where there is seating and our customers can plug in their laptops to the mains supply to charge their laptops whilst they use them. The signal does cover an area of our Park nearest to the Reception and customers in tents have had no problems accessing WiFi - some have actually watched the Olympic Games on their laptops from their tents. Please take a look at our facebook page at www.facebook.com/longhazelpark where a customer has commented on the WiFi availability from her tent. We hope you will visit us again. |

Liked: Site was beautifully laid out. Shower and toilet block hidden by foliage, spotless with lovely hot showers. Dogs were welcomed and the loop walk around Sparkford included a lovley woodland area ending up at the pub about 100 yards from the site! Would definitely recommend site and will visit again. Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Liked: Excellent facilities and pitches. The owner was very friendly and gave us information about the local area. Shower block is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Love the fact that it is adult only site. Disliked: The noise from the A303 but hey, you can't have everything.

The bulk of our customers find us being sited just off the A303 is a plus especially when they have to find a site which will take large American RV's, Fifth Wheels etc as we are very easy to access particularly during the winter and bad weather when we are one of the few remaining sites open. Liked: The area, although the A303 was close by it never bothered us, noise was minimal. Country roads were ideal for cycling. Disliked: Having to hold tap down when trying to wash hands.

These taps are fitted for our guests with limited mobility and to avoid taps being left running. You could partly fill the basin with water before washing your hands and hopefully this will resolve the situation. We hope that this will not put you off returning to see us again soon. |
