Our Favourite site lindsay-v-harris (Family with young children, 1 review, 0 photos) Stayed Jun 2011 Review submitted 21 Feb 2012 Stayed in: Tent pitches Would recommend to friends Would visit again Liked: We've stayed here twice and will be back, The pitches are clean and the facilities are imaculate. Great facilities even to the point of them leaving washing up liquid and soap to use. There's even a handy vending machine. Theres a camp kitchen you can use with fridge, freezer and microwave and plug sockets for charging. Its a great and very useful addition. The wardens are friendly are knowledgable. Theres so much to do in the area we have to keep going back and its lovely to walk along the river (just at the bottom of the path) Cant reccomend it enough. Disliked: You have to be aware that its very near Heathrow and the motorway. So is noisy. The site itself is very quiet and lights out is adhered to but it does take a day to get used to the noise from the planes and cars. It doesnt put us off though. Did you find this review useful?
