Liked: its a small site, nothing fancy, clean showers and toilet block, rope swing for the kids, fresh eggs for brekky, oil drums for a fire, nothing better than sitting under the stars with a proper fire. most of the holiday makers are regulars, us included, been there twice now and we will be back, oddie the site dog hes adorable very funny to see him herding the chickens around the feild, but dont forget to take oddie a treat, he will be your best friend then. also the donkeys they like a carrot. pat shes a diamond lovely lady. just love this site,

Disliked: there wasnt anything i disliked.

Liked: This was our third visit and we are going again this weekend for a week.
The campsite is very basic with no entertainment or park but it has lots of lovely walking space, donkeys, geese, ducks, chickens and dogs - all of which except the donkeys roam free around the site.
Two toilet/shower cubicles with a wonderful hot shower that lasts around 10-15 mins for £1.
You can also have real fires in the large fire pits supplied with grill for great BBQ food, a bag of logs can be purchased for £2, or you can wander around and collect your own from the area.
You can also buy fresh eggs laid by the chickens at £1 for 6.
Our children loved having breakfast with the chickens and geese which seemed to know when you got the food out and come and join you, and then walking to the gate to feed the donkeys and playing on the rope swings.
Site fees are £10 per night and the owners are lovely and always happy to help where they can

Disliked: It is next to a noisy road but to be honest it's not really as noticeable as you think it will be and it does quieten down at night.
