Liked: Gear Farm Camping is just wonderful. From the warm and friendly welcome to the meticulously clean facilities and spectacular view, it is everything my family enjoys about camping.

This part of the world is just beautiful and a stay at Gear Farm is as comfortable as camping gets. I am not sure who wrote the review from last year (a competitor!?) but please do not let it put you off. The 'busy road' is a quiet leafy lane and I can't see how they could have 'misinterpreted' the facilities - this campsite has lovely hot showers, a delicious farm shop/deli on site, a fridge/freezer for you to keep food in, washing-up liquid with quality sponges/brushes for you to use and I really appreciated the effort they had gone to to make it so easy for you to recycle. We will come again.

Liked: Everything about the campsite, our children played with the other children, cricket, frisbee and were never bored.
Toilet and shower were spotless. It was not a busy road, a quiet lane, yes.
