Liked: the fish & chip van!! which did great fish & chips but did not have a side window!!

Disliked: This park really was the worst place i have ever stayed, being a member of the t4 forum we go out and about in the summer months camping in our camper van "vinnie" and at every other campsite we have rolled up to we have been made very welcome, not here!! we booked this site after contacting the tourist information centre about sites in the area that take dogs, they gave us this sites number and we booked, stating we had a vw camper van, all good, then later that evening whilst looking at the reviewssaw that they did not take dogs, so phone to confirm this and they did not, so booked our beagle puppy in at the local kennels (which by the way were excellent!) and looked forward to our night away...
Arrived at widend to start our break away to be Grunted at by an elderly chap "Thats a bloody comercial vehicle!!" thought no more and went to check in, where the woman in the office took a look at our camper van and because we did not have a side window said we could not stay... never before has this happend could not believe it!!!
we (myself, the mrs & the small piece!) were gutted!! it caused an arguement between me and the mrs that lasted well in to that evening! it very nearly put her off camping!!!
the campsite did say they would not charge us for our pitch and that we could leave our camper in the car pack (which we were told had cctv and they did not!!) and stay in our friends tent (thay had already arrived and pitched!! or else we would have gone!!) and only pay £8 for the extra people stayiing!!
Later that evening when we went for a walk around the site we found 2 caravens both of which had a dog!!!
i can not believe that they say thay have rules yet they dont apply to everyone...
I was Not told that i could not bring my dog when we first booked and I was Not asked whever my camper van had side windows or not either...

overall rating NOT GOOD, will not recomend as we found the elderly couple to be very rude, definatly a case of if your face dont fit you cant come in!!

this might be picky but the pitch for my friends tent we had no other choice to stay in was Far from Level..!!

would i recomend this site...No...would i stay again...Never..
