Liked: My wife and I stayed here with our three-year-old son and had a great time. We were in a static caravan that was more of a lodge really. It had ensuite bathrooms and bags of space as well as a barbecue area outside. The location is absolutely gorgeous and the old railway track at the back of the holiday village provides a nice, relatively short walk to Keswick. My son really enjoyed the onsite kiddies' splash pool which is a nice addition. The laundry facilities are also decent and not too hard on the wallet.

Overall, Low Briery is a wonderful place to stay and a great base to explore Keswick and The Lakes in general. I wouldn't hesitate to return. Pricey, but worth every penny.

Disliked: The only downsides to our stay at Low Briery were the hike up the steps to access the caravan. Not good when you've got a few heavy suitcases!

Also a DVD player and freeview in the caravan would have been nice instead of the old analogue TV we had.

Finally, the management came across as a bit surly at times, as if it's considered a privilege for you to stay at the holiday village. That being said, I was reassured by a regular customer that they're a diamond once they get to know you!
