very happy with our stay over the recent bank holiday keith l. (Family with young children, 1 review, 0 photos) Confirmed ?
Liked: liked the friendly welcome to the site. as we where camping in the none electric tent field, we were told we could pitch up where we liked. plenty of space. all the site was clean and tidy, quiet and well looked after. shower/toilet block was always clean during our stay. three showers in each male and female block but never had to wait for a vacant one. also had some individual sinks curtained off for privacy which could be handy. small shop sold sweets and toys, wind breaks etc. playground and play field for ball games so you didn't have footballs banging off your tent. our kids made use of these facilities. site is in a good location for visiting thornton le dale, dalby forest, scarborough amongst other places. all in all a nice friendly relaxed site, would recommend and visit again. all good! Disliked: nothing to dislike. |

Liked: We liked the site very much the pitch layouts where very well planed out the supply posts for electrics, water, and tv. very handy, also the drainage point for waste water saved the trouble of running every day to empty the waste water. The staff were very helpful and polite, and where always ready to assist in anyway they could. The toilet block is always kept very clean and sanitised. Disliked: The only dislike were the push buttons on the taps in the shower and the hand basins, but that is only nit picking.Otherwise a very pleasant say. |

Liked: The site facilities were very clean and were kept clean during our stay, the shop had everything we needed (and had forgotten!). We used the site as a base for coast and inland walks and didn't stay on the site during the day but whilst we were there we had no problems getting a shower or using the washing facilities, our small dog was also welcomed. Disliked: Nothing negative to say, some noise late evening from over zealous campers was delt and wasn't a problem. |

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. There are a few things i would like to comment on: 1. We do have a freezer service in the shop for ice blocks, had you mentioned this to a member of staff, this would have been explained. If there are any points you would like to discuss directly, please feel free to contact us. |

We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us, however may i suggest you research the place you are visiting before making a booking. The location, facilities etc. are all shown very clearly on most camping websites, we do advertise ourselves as a small countryside park with facilities to reflect that. Maybe try Haven next time.
