Lovely rural retreat geoffdelivett (Mature couple, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: Allthough very busy the site is broken up by hedges and trees, so doesn't seem crowded. There are lovely walks and cycling through miles of forest, quiet and beautiful. We even saw a Fawn close by whilst walking, it watched us too. Facilities were excellent and kept clean by both staff and campers. Staff were ten of ten in helpfulness and friendliness. A tesco about 6 mile away for essentials like beer and wine. The site shop has other essentials like bread and stuff, and superb eggs. Disliked: Having to leave after only 1 night, we will return. |
