Spent the Easter weekend at the lovely Tattershall Lakes Country Park. SADIE A. (Family with young children, 1 review, 0 photos) Confirmed ?
Liked: We enjoyed the weather, the sun was shining, and although the wind was chilly, we wrapped up warm and enjoyed walking around the Lakes and site. We enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt up Tattershall Castle, the views from the top fantastic, could pick out Lincoln Cathedral and Boston Stump. The children enjoyed playing on the wooden children's play area, a stone throw away from our pitch. We visited Woodhall Spa, and although not intended, ended up watching a film at the Kinema in the Woods, which was an experience for the children. The pub and restaurant, just up the road from the site, was very welcoming and the meals worth the wait. Disliked: The break was enjoyable, however on arrival, Pitchup.com, who we booked the break through, had failed to inform Tattershall Lakes of our booking, so we had to sort a pitch out, which took over an hour. The site was fully booked, but we managed to squeeze in. |

Liked: Beutiful campsite very easy to find good location we took our own caravan and stayed on a servised pitch the staff are very friendly and happy to help out. The campsite it's self is massive. There are a few down falls as with any site the toliets need to be cleaned and restocked moor we found every time we went in there was no loo roll or hand wash left and the shower floor was always full of mudy foot prints the showers need to have a shower curtain put up as ur clothes get wet off the sprey. We was goin to look at booking again next year and take the kyacks but found out we would only be aloud on the warter after 7pm or before 8am. The activities were quite expensive too £50 per hour for the hot tub the spar was brilliant over all the campsite was still very good and I would look to go back again Disliked: Beutiful campsite very easy to find good location we took our own caravan and stayed on a servised pitch the staff are very friendly and happy to help out.
