Good site, location and facilities Sue B. (Family with older children, 1 review, 0 photos) Confirmed ?
Liked: Location, functionality and cleanliness. Disliked: Grassy toilet block floors: It was quite wet weather during our stay and the toilet block would have benefited from a door mat; and would have been good to have a squidgy or mop to enable you to dry shower cubicle after use. |

The guest above has stated that we are a massive park, with only one toilet. We are not massive, we are a family run park, with a site licence for 120 pitches. We have an area of around 6 acres (nearest to the shower block), which contains the pitches. We have an additional 15 acres which has no pitches, and is our house, entrance, meadowland for recreation, three fishing lakes and a nature trail.
We have one shower block, which contains 8 toilets, 10 washbasins (two of which have their own private cubicle) and 4 showers and a hairdressing area for the ladies. The gents facilities contain 4 toilets, 5 urinals, 9 washbasins (one of which has its own private cubicle) and 4 showers.
Our planning consent and site licence states that both the position and quantity of facilities we have will cater for 120 units. We actually only had an average of 50 units per night whilst the guest was staying with us.
Any guests who wait in our reception are only waiting for a couple of minutes and this is only because we may be serving another guest either booking them in or giving information when asked.
