Liked: very family-friendly, the childrens entertainment was great, perfect for our 4-year-old daughter. the entertainments team work so hard and are always smiley and great with the kids no matter what time of the day or night! the clubhouse was just the right size at the time we went, end aug/beg sept, but would probably be a bit busy at peak times of the year. well-stocked little shop at reasonable prices. all the staff really friendly and helpful, particularly the touring warden. great base for exploring the surrounding areas, great coastline on this stretch of the east coast.
Disliked: uneven pitch, only a small quibble really, ours was actually quite flat but i imagine some others might make the sleeping quarters of your tent a bit uncomfortable! the toilet/shower block was okay, but in need of some tlc, but on our last day, one of the wardens told us that the park has been awarded a grant to upgrade these facilities, so it will be much better once this has been done. quite noisy late at night, most nights unfortunately! some of the other patrons are not very respectful of the fact that from 11pm onwards those of us with young families do not want to be listening to full-blown screaming domestics and assorted effing and jeffing! this isnt exactly a fault of the park itself, and I dont know quite how you would resolve the issue! but it was 1 reason i'm glad we were only on a short break here! play areas around the park a bit poor, overcrowded even on the quiet weekend we were here, having said that, the little playground at the side of the clubhouse was much better.

Liked: The site layout, everything close together. The entertainment thanks to Brad and his team James and Leanne. The pool and the activities thanks to Ian and his team, however need to look at genral swim timings so they don't run in to other entertainment scheduled in the club, maybe put the payed activities on then!! Showers on Bluebell where clean and tidy through our stay.
Disliked: The thief that pinched my wife's phone out of the car within 30 mins of being on the park, while putting our tent up (watch out for your items) is this due to the security just talking to there mates at reception all night and not doing there job?? Even though we knew how had it they said there was nothing they could do. Uneven pitches, could be sorted out in the winter months. Waiting 50 mins for a very dried out breakfast, this due to lack of staff in the mornings possibly or lack of training, having said that Jade was constantly on the go and helping the other staff correct there wrongs to which was putting more work on to her day. The Blue Flag Beach how it got the award I do not know. People with dogs not cleaning up after there dogs have done there business, as twice my little ones walked it into our tent!!

Liked: Good pitches . Easy walking distance to the sea front and town. Cleaner tried to keep the toilets and showers clean and stocked.
Disliked: Far too many adolescents & teenagers shouting through the night and unsupervised children n their scooters in the road.Club house and swimming pool too small for size of site. not enough toilets and showers. stocks of toilet roll and hand towels seemed to be used up very quickly due to children wasting them. Hot water in the dish washing area was very hit and miss.

Liked: close to the beach and park facilities.
Disliked: my neighbors!! never have i been surrounded by so many clampits in my whole life!! sorry but no other way of putting it. Toilet block wasnt clean and the horrible dark orange decor made it even more dingy. only 2 showers per block just wasnt enough. pitch was very bumpy really struggled with trailer tent to get it pitched level.

Liked: the clean toilets, the site was clean and the grass kept short-mower out and about every day.
Disliked: the noise of the external doors to the toilets-they banged shut all the time and we were right next to them-sounded like a football being kicked against a wall-not pleasant. the clubhouse was full of kids every night, couples like us were not catered for at all so we went into withernsea to the pubs.

A Good midweek camping break

Liked: Just had a great midweek break camping at Withernsea Sands. We had an electric pitch (BlueBell 4) which was good. Security was helpful as at one point someone else pitched their tent about 1 FOOT from ours and they were told to move! The entertainment was good (we have kids 4 and 7) and the entertainment staff should be congratulated on their enthusiasm. The swimming pool was small but good and clean. The park shop well stocked with essentials you may need.
Disliked: To Improve: The BlueBell toilets / shower block should be cleaned and restocked more than once a day. There is no excuse for the state they are in by morning. Some of the camping pitches (BlueBell 2 for example) are totally unsuitable for tents (big holes in them which need filling leading to flooding!) Perhaps Park Resorts can sort this out!!

Liked: we had a good sized pitch not to bumpy, very friendly staff in the shop, site kept very clean and the shower block was cleaned every morning. The bar food was very tasty (childrens portions a little small) Recycling facilities very good only 2 washing up sinks but never had to wait for these
Disliked: the noise at night after the club house closed, lack of site wardens, to many teenage kids wondering around late at night. Entertainment for the children was aimed a tiny tots nothing for the 10+ welcome pack had very little imformation in it, lack of toilet paper due to there being no alternative hand towels.
