Liked: Very clean and tidy amenities block,friendy welcome,quiet setting, close to the coast. Very good pub, New Inn in nearby village for food.

Disliked: Woken by cockerell at 4am and 7am,but I guess that's what you shold expect staying on a farm site.

Liked: THE SITE WAS CLEAN & friendly, the owners were helpful & the toilet facilities were new ideal site however if you have children they cannot ride bikes on the site anywhere other than the rally field.the pitch had electric & water & drainage

Liked: We liked the peace and quiet with only the country sounds from the nearby farm. The owner was very helpful without being intrusive. It is situated very near to all the North Wales attractions and also to Liverpool it is also very easy to find as it is quite close to the A55 without being too close.We will recommend it too other campers and hope to return ourselves.

Disliked: Nothing really but if there was a mop to dry the shower it might be helpful

Liked: The location was beautiful , really relaxing , tidy and well laid out . The showers and toilets were spotless and the site owner was helpful and funny . A really enjoyable break , will definitely be going again this year ,

The site was very easy to find as not to far off the A55 and easily sign posted.

There was lots of space for my young children to run around and play in, as the site was clean of dog mess.

Would defiantly return.

Disliked: Woken up at 3am by the cockerel at the farm next door to the tent field. At 4am it woke up the farm dog, which in turn woke up the cows - it was a little like Old MacDonalds Farm! Best to pitch on the far right side of the tent field if possible and go to bed early.

Liked: Site and grounds were very clean and well maintained a credit to the owner. Toilet blocks and showers were spotless and there was plenty of hot water.
We stayed on a super pitch and we found it fantastic having water and drainage on the pitch rather than having to carry the water and waste.
The views were beautiful and it was very quiet.
We took our puppy with us and found there was a field to take her for a walk and also lots of local walks just outside the camp entrance.
We liked the fact that there was a security height barrier for added peace of mind.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and I would recommend this site to everyone.

Liked: I loved this site as it was in such a beautiful surrounding area, the views were amazing and to top it off the weather was good for our first weekend camping. The toilet block was clean and the showers were hot the whole place was clean and well maintained. The staff were very polite and very helpful with our requests. The prices were also very good and we will definitely be staying here again. It is good that the main road (A55) is easy to get too, we were able to get to where we wanted without getting lost. Very happy we stayed here :)

Disliked: Pitches are quite tight to access,and the limestone on then round gets everywhere!

Liked: When the camp was less full as you could get a hot shower.

Disliked: The price we were quoted by pitch up was wrong and we had to pay another four pounds for a Bank Hol Stay. Dogs were supposed to be kept on leads but it was not enforced and there was several lots of dog muck on field so you had to watch where you stood. The visability when leaving the camp was terrible as you could not see what was coming up lane a mirror is URGENTLY NEEDED.

Liked: The site was very well run very clean, the owner have pride in the site, all round enjoyed are stay there, toilets and shower block excellent and clean. 10-out of 10, will go back again.

Liked: The site was very easy to find as they were well signposted. On arrival the owner was very polite when booking in the office, making my son feel very happy as he gave him a packet of sweets, aged 4.

We stayed on the site for a weekend, not once were the toilets dirty, they were immaculate all weekend, the whole site was spotless.

The tent field was of a large size so my son had lots of space to run around and play.

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Disliked: Push button showers and only one of the three showers has a seat/shelf so you only have a hook on the back of the door which is,nt enough.
Grass a bit long but was cut the next day which lead to grass cuttings in tent.
Even though there is a mature hedge around the field it is still very exposed and due to high winds when we were there which damaged our tent and we had to leave two days early.
Shop and pub a good two and a half miles away.
A55 road noise depending which way wind is blowing.

Liked: The ladies' toilet/shower block was absolutely immaculate. You have to give the owners 10/10 for cleanliness. My husband was as equally impressed with the gents.

The whole site was very well kept and spotlessly clean.

It really did not bother us that there was no lighting in the camping field. We had head torches if we needed to venture anywhere and would prefer no lighting at all than have a beam of light coming through our tent keeping us awake.

As for facilities, well we knew there was no playground etc for children and so I don't understand why others have mentioned this as a downside. There was a large enough space on the tent field for lots of children to play with their kites, kick a ball etc.

The atmosphere was lovely.

To be honest, value for money, it was spot on. Now that I know what to expect, I would go again, bearing in mind the price.

Disliked: There is not a tent field plus a rally field - they are in fact one. How they are allowed to advertise as having both is beyond me!!

Camping pitches with electric hook up are on the outside of the 'one' field; camping pitches with no electric hook up are 'pitch as you like'. So we thought!! When we arrived, we got told they were full so just to pitch anywhere in the middle and they would come out with an extra long lead for electric. There was no way at all I was pitching in the middle of a field with children running about, with a lead trailing half way across for them all to fall over!! Even more surprising was, when I checked on Pitch-up, it said that there were still 8 available pitches with electric hook up??? After having to get the owner to come and help us out, he went and asked a caravan owner to move his vehicle so that we could pitch up on the outside. This, I felt, was really good of him and he did, to be fair, look after us and came back several times that day to make sure we were o.k. Again, really nice of him.

The pitches are not marked out and it is basically a free-for-all where you pitch. There was most definitely not 3 metres between tents. This site would be soooo much improved if they mark out their pitches.

The pitch we ended up with, unbeknown to us, was right next to the farmyard. Sounds cute but try listening to not one but three cockerels all day and night.

If you do go to this site, and I actually do recommend it if you are happy to pitch wherever you can find a space and not rely on electric hook-up, then when you enter the tent field, keep away from the near left side. Go as far as you can to the right hand side, right right over!!! :)

Liked: The site was very clean & tidy and ver organised, we was greated by the owner and his daughter who where very welcoming (even stayed open late as we got lost!!!)

Disliked: Due to having 2 teenage boys this site was not for us as thier was nothing for them to do and also it is not close to anywhere so their was no where for them to go. The only problem i had about the site its self was the lack of lighting on the tent field, their was none! i found it very scary walking to the toilets in the evening!

Liked: Straight away from the start it was very welcoming and friendly. The whole place was immaculate and the owner was so helpful. We were shown around and then given our pitch on lovely well looked after land. Toilets and showers were spotless. All facilities you could need were there. Water nice and hot, drinking water available, bricks to stand our little barbeque on.A peaceful site with beautiful views. 5 minute drive to the town. Lots to do. Will definately stay again

Disliked: Only a couple of niggles were the constant barking dog at the property near by and the toilets were being painted whilst we were there so my hubby got paint on his coat. Other than that perfect

Liked: A pleasant quite site, in a handy location for north Wales.

Disliked: When you approach the site, the first thing you see is two contractors caravans facing you, not a good start, then you drive on cement based road, which clogs up your tyres and shoes etc. The toilet block did not have the heating on and was freezing in April, there was nowhere to put your things in the shower, just one hook.the taps are the press type which is a pain. Also the water point taps are the same which is frustrating. Pitches were small and had to park on the road.

Liked: everything about the site,the owner was very helpful and chatted alot to us,the park was exceptionally spotless and well looked after,the toilets and showers were spotless too could not have faulted nothing.we have booked to go back in april and were also going back in july.

Liked: We stayed here overall for 3 weeks, i know that sounds crazy, but it was the school holidays and we all enjoyed it so much that we kept extending our stay. The kids made loads of friends and played out on the field as much as they could, lots of good fresh air rather than being stuck indoors on computers. The campsite is not far from Rhyl, Prestatyn, and Dyserth Waterfall. There are many places to go on days out. The Facilities were excellent, always very clean and the showers were lovely. The owner of the camp was really friendly and very accommodating. The staff were always very friendly. There are great views from the camping field and we were able to watch a thunder storm on the hills in the distance, while the sun was over us, that was an experience I can tell you. At night the sky is amazing on a clear night you may even see meteors, we were very lucky and managed to see a meteor shower!! It was really very nice to sit outside and have a drink while gazing at the stars with our little heater on!
We will defiantly be returning, its a great camp site with excellent facilities and a good price.

The cockerel doesn't know when to shut up! I think it needs retraining because it doesn't know when its dawn. ; ) But you get used to it and that's just the great outdoors!!

Liked: I very much liked the showers in the toilet block there was always hot water when needed and they were always very clean and tidy.

Liked the pitch we were on as it had its own supply of fresh and waste water.

Disliked: I disliked the fact they were not very motorhome friendly as they had a barrier with a 6' height restriction and only the manager of the site was able to open this. This was a safety measure for caravans as they could not be stollen and they could access the barrier with their cars, but motorhomes had to phone and get the manager to come and raise the barrier each time we wanted out and in therefore this left you with the feeling you were causing bother and did not want to come and go as you please. So NOT Motorhome Friendly otherwise a very nice site.

= Showers on approx. 11sec switch off - so you must constantly press button - ok for men but tricky for women with long hair to wash & rinse, or showering with children.

= Extra charge for this, that and the other... bumped cost up considerably.

= No recycling facility for waste (apparently, half the cost to land fill....!!)

Liked: What a well run site - an example to many! After a disaster night at a terrible campsite on the coast, we moved to this one. What a difference - clean toilets and showers, a beautiful campsite which is well maintained to a high standard. Noise is kept to a minimum so no drunken idiots are tolerated, no blasting dance music to drive you insane, just a quiet, well ran site which is all I could ask for to renew my faith in camping!! We will definately be visiting again, many thanks.

Disliked: On the row I was allocated it was a very narrow entrance to the row with a rock wall on each side of the corner making it difficult to enter and exit.The roadway itself was narrow with not enough room to reverse into your pitch, the van had to be unhitched and man handled into position.
On the Sunday I was leaving there were 2 first time caravanners I had to assist to get there vans off there pitch and hitched up.

Liked: Peace and quiet even with Camping site attached.

Disliked: Lack of additional services such as A Site Shop

Liked: Very peacful scenic site, with toilets and showers to the highest of standards. We had trips to conwy castle, and rhyl which are within a reasonable distanc from the site. Wifi was also available. Highly rated, will certainly be visting again.
