We had a fantastic stay in the lodge at eco camp. The lodge was cosy and warm int he wintery weather. Lismore is a beautiful island, easy and inexpensive to get too. A great mini adventure! jennyslack52 (Young couple, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: Very cosy and warm lodge, easy booking and hassle free stay. We were picked up and dropped off at the ferry, everything was ready for us and we were left to enjoy a great time enjoying the camp and exploring the island. The owners could not have been more helpful. Disliked: Nothing - it was great |

Relaxed, friendly atmoshere and owners very approachable and ready to help. Beautiful views. Have every intention of returning. lesleysvirak (Family with older children, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: Location and the view to the mainland. Disliked: The midges on an evening, but that's Scotland for you! Fire does disperse them, but it may be a good idea to look into some repellent for the kiddies. |

Fantastic camping experience at eco-camp. jamamafegan (Family with older children, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: Me and my father are regular campers of the Scottish western isles. Our travels have seen us camp in some of the most beautiful and scenic parts of Scotland. Our experience at eco-camp on the Isle of Lismore was without doubt, one of the best we have ever had - even though we were only there for 1 night. On our arrival we were immediately warmly greeted and made to feel at home. The owners could not have been any nicer to us, offering us tents to use and even fire wood if we wished to have a fire. We pitched up and got settled down. What is most striking from the site is the scenery, which was truly stunning: a full view over the sea, into magnificent Scottish mountain landscape. Later that night we were then invited into the household of the lovely site owners, who offered us food and drink, despite us arriving fully prepared for ourselves! We even managed to watch a film that night which is not your usual camping activity, but great fun nevertheless! The facilities were very good with a toilet and shower available. There was also the option for outdoor activities such as sea kayaking, however we didn't have enough time to do so. So overall, a fantastic place to camp with something for everyone and would thoroughly recommend to other campers. Disliked: The fact we couldn't stay longer! ;) |

Fantastic Site and Owners- highly recommended sarahlouisehunter (Young couple, 1 review, 0 photos) Confirmed ?
Liked: We loved the location- on a very friendly and beautiful little island only 10 mins boat trip from Port Appin, and the scenery- with views of the sea, Ben Nevis and wildflowers and butterflies all around, was truly beautiful. Christina and Steve could not of been more helpful. We have stayed at many sites and this is the only one where we felt like a welcomed guest and that they would provide anything they could to ensure you enjoy your stay. Food prepared by Christina was lovely and she happily provided us with some vital items we had forgotten! Disliked: Nothing, even the midgies were barely noticable (the fire helps with this) |
